Listens: Timbuck 3 Future's so Bright, I gotta wear Shades

The truck is fixed.

It took a while. I originally started by using a design for a voltage regulator that was online... Big mistake!!! It Didn't regulate very well. I adjusted it to where it was supposed to regulate the voltage from the alternator. It did for about five minutes... Then it ran away and before I could shut the engine down it was putting out over 17 volts and was continuing to climb. Well it fried the alternator and I decided I better design one myself.. Well my regulator is working fine. I have actually had it in the truck over two weeks now and not a problem.I looked online to see what regulators cost and I think I may start producing them. I could not find one for less than $85 and I can produce mine for around $35 retail. While I was researching regulators I found about 3 other models based on my original design that would fill gaps in other markets. One in particular is Harley Davidson. Anybody that has a later Harley knows that the Harley regulator will sometimes do what the first regulator design did I tried. I goes into run away and when it does it destroys the alternator. A rather expensive proposition since the alternator is inside the engine case and is expensive to replace. Anyway I guess I am going to get back into business. retirement is not something I do well...Actually , I had already started to come out of retirement working on designs for some professional recording equipment so, I guess this will just be the bread and butter items that provide R&D money for the rest of my ideas. Lot of other things going on. With the addition to my house I am doing and music CD I expect to release late in 2021.. I am enjoying my retirement!!
That's it for now. Hope for a good day for all.
