It sounded really good so I had to give it a go.
It turned out pretty well - especially considering I haven't actually baked a cake in a really long time. It's a nice balance of sweet strawberry and sour lemon, a great dessert for a warm day!

The recipe calls for
* One box of strawberry cake mix (and eggs, oil, and water needed for it)
* One 8 oz pack of Philadelphia Cream Cheese (softened at room temperature)
* One 8 oz tub of Cool Whip topping
* Yellow Food Coloring
* Two - 7 oz containers of Jet-Puffed Marshmallow creme
* One packet of Kool-Aid lemonade mix
* fresh strawberries

-Directions-
* Prepare the cake as directed and bake in TWO 9-inch round pans.
* While cake is baking, cream together the cream cheese, lemonade mix, and yellow food coloring until smooth and you've reached desired color.
* Mix in the two containers of marshmallow creme and mix until smooth
* Add 8 oz tub of cool whip and mix until smooth
** Refrigerate this creme until cake has completely cooled and is ready for assembly **

* Rest the cakes on a wire rack until completely<\/i> cooled.
* Cut each cake layer in half, so you wind up with four separate pieces.
* Alternate layers of cake with layers of creme (I found about 3-4 big tablespoons was enough to do each layer) and end with covering the entire cake in a layer of creme.
* Top with sliced strawberries.
* Refrigerate and serve chilled!

Since the frosting\/creme is made from cool whip and cream cheese it will melt if left out, so keep that in mind.
This was my first try at this cake and I think it turned out pretty well. Time Traveller - The Girl Who Leapt Through Time


Riisa Naka - who did the voice in the anime - plays the lead, Akari. Attempting to leap to 1972, she accidently ends up in 1974 instead and sets out to deliver her mother's message with the help of her new friend Ryota. The time leap itself is a little odd, but the other effects aren't too bad. I really enjoyed the balance of discovery, drama, and comedy - I found myself giggling, aww-ing, and crying. It's a little over two hours - so be prepared to let the story gradually build. It's well worth it, in my opinion, and by the time the movie reached its climax and ending my attachment to the characters made it all the more bittersweet.

If you enjoyed the novel or the anime version, then give this a shot as well.
If you haven't leapt into the title before (see what I did there?), then this is as good of a time as any. It wasn't like Obito came from a lowly clan, or had it rough his entire life, or grew up alone and misguided, or had some tragic story about his parents or something.

It almost makes me sad... to think all this pain and sadness and grief for other characters stemmed from Obito's selfish act, his grandiose scale of a childish tantrum. Is this arc the end of Fairy Tail? Will there be more to come after this? Levy has been \"narrating\" the story of Fairy Tail as she writes (a book, memoir, letter to Lucy?). And she's always been hinting at this fateful day that changed everything forever - and it's coming up in the arc.

Gajeel finds a Dragon Graveyard (which makes me sad, but curious at the same time. How did they get there? Who is behind it all damn it?)

Toward the end, we see a current (bandaged?) Levy, writing of how they lost to fate on July 7 and that people died, including a person she loved (please not Gajeel!!!), and then Jellal finds the mysterious source of magic power reminiscent of Zeref's (who was one BAMF for sure) and is utterly flabbergasted [I don't use that word enough] to find out her<\/i> identity. Claiming \"HOW...!!!\"

And then... one full page of TO BE CONTINUED!

And the next two issues will have a backstory from within the Grand Magic Games before continuing with the actual arc. B-b-but... *whines* Mashima-san...

I hate the chapters where it's nothing but long-winded explanations.


Do we, as readers, need to know every exact detail about how every little thing works? I saw it coming, I must admit. But I had some hope that maybe we'd get to some kick-assery.
And Tobi just stands there like \"Okay, I'm not going to make a move until you get done talking, and then of course I'll have to make a retort. And though we're supposed to be fighting<\/i> we can all talk like adults around a fucking cup of tea first, but of course afterward I'm just going to try to talk Naruto down.\"

We all know that won't work. Naruto's shits rainbows and sunshine. A few words - or passages - by some baddies do nothing to faze him, especially when Kyuubi speaks up for him. Which, even with the development, seems odd still. I still can't get hyper-violent I want to eat your flesh Kyuubi out of my memory.

Kakashi, I love you, but why talk so much?? I get it, their eye jutsus are connected; his space-time ninjutsu is connected to his Kamui's dimension - but all that other stuff in unnecessary, at least to me it was. (With his breaking it into, as Gai put it, \"simpler terms\" made me feel like they think all the readers are as dense as Naruto T_T).
And then that raises the question of WHY are they connected.

Because Tobi IS Obito!
Well, he doesn't say it, but these two pages kinda speak for themselves<\/s>

I seriously had to pause and then go back and read it again. Kakashi's expression, that reaction, was just... priceless. And it really makes me look forward to the next chapter. I wonder what will go down. Will his identity as Obito be confirmed? Will Kakashi be stuck on the sidelines using his Kamui so Naruto can land hits? What kind of toll will that take on Kakashi's overall health? I mean, we all know he's a bit limited on chakra and can only do it so much... Will any of those question be answered?

BUT that isn't even the thing that really got me. What got me was when Kakashi was planning to make a move and \"Tobi\" (or the nobody he claims to be) says \"Kakashi you always open your mouth so easily; it's no wonder you've lived a life of regret.\" *look of surprise* -oh snap<\/i>-
And when Gai asks who he is, he simply replies, \"You don't remember faces so what point is there in telling you?\" And Kakashi's face in the next panel? Oh lordie, he has that sort of confused\/curious\/this shit's bout to get serious-look about him.

So is this all from the intel he's gathered or is \"Tobi\" someone closer to them than they think? Oh, where are my Tobi\/Obito theorists??? I'd love to hear what you think now.

And apparently the Ten Tails is like freakin bad-ass cause it can split the land and make mountains and shit. How are our heroes supposed to defeat it if it's revived? And of course we have Naruto making his claims to the role of future Hokage and being better than all the other generations before him, inserting his dream on us once again (as if we don't like it, Naruto-kun). Oh, and Bee is more pervy than we thought.

And with Naruto saying that he guesses he'll just have to bash in his mask... will Tobi's real identity be revealed? Finally?
Ooh, and with the oncoming battle, I really hope to see more of Tobi's power. He's supposed to be all big-bad, so I hope he lives up to it.

And what's with Sasuke reviving Orochimaru last chapter? What the hell? Just when I thought we had gotten rid of him... *sigh*
What are they going to be up to now? Will Sasuke gain some wisdom and suddenly be all \"Oh, okay, it's all cool now. Let's go home, Naruto\" *skips off happily* Kishi... you troll... don't eff this up!! I still want to see a Naruto-Sasuke brawl that puts another mark on their world like the Valley of the End. At this point, even though I have hopes for Sasuke's redemption, I want to see something just emotionally fueled and provide some real fucking closure - no matter what happens to either of them.

[8] Takeshi \"Beat\" Kitano

I love Kitano-san! I was in a movie watching mood last night, so after watching The Pit & The Pendulum, I got on Netflix and watched Outrage<\/i>. He wrote, directed, edited, and had a role in the movie. And just ... yeah yakuza movie ftw.

I know that he started as a comedian, and in television shows, but I never caught onto Kitano until his movies. He's had roles in films like Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence, Battle Royale 1 & 2, Gonin, Johnny Mnemonic, and Takeshi Miike's Izo.
Sonatine was one of the first of his directed movies that I saw and I fell in love with the style immediately. After that I watched Hana-bi (Fireworks), and Brother (sometimes cited as one of the best yakuza films ever by fans). Dolls was pretty good, and he made a Zatoichi film! Kitano is known for his violent movies and stylish editing, he has a way with stories, and I think he's a wonderful actor. If you like crime movies, yakuza movies, or violent gun battles - hell, if you like Japanese cinema, then you should definitely check out a film by \"Beat\"
