Lucy and Ricky were groundbreaking in other ways too...they were the first interracial couple on tv. I thought it was cute how in those days, they showed them sleeping in seperate beds in the bedroom :P


Let's see...other modern couples? Well when I was younger, I remember Mork and Mindy, and then the Jeffersons...while Scully and Mulder from the X Files never got involved in the traditional sense, I think of them as a great team or 'couple' in that sense too.
