Scrabulous?

So, I know there's people on Facebook I shouldn't challenge to play Scrabble, but who out there would be amenable to the occasional game? I've got plans to start going to Scrabble in the City after St. Pat's, and I need more practice with a wider range of people. Especially since I know what the outcome of any game with dexfarkin or qbmuses is going to be - my resounding defeat. ;P

Note: Facebook is blocked from work, so games would be over days/weeks, at lunch and in the evening.

For shame, friendslist...

For shame. After I extolled you to spread the word of dexcon coming up, what do I see? Nada. Well, except for daroos, who earns herself a gold star and a cookie for being a good little memer. :)

Seriously, guys, pimp that thing. We need a minimum of thirty to cover the cost of the venue, and we need to book that soon before the summer rush hits. We're not asking for money (yet), so there's plenty of time to save between now and August.

Here's an idea. Pick some from your friendslist you haven't seen in an age, and direct your Dexcon pimping post at them. It'll be fun!

dexcon. You know you want to go, drharper. *grins*

Edit: In response to the many people who said they have the same friendslist as me... it's not about range, it's about saturation. Companies don't advertise their products on just one channel on television - after all, the same people watch TV across the board - because they know if they get their product out in enough faces, someone will eventually cave in and say "to hell with it". So enough people have in their LJ "So-and-so, I want you to come to Dexcon", maybe that person will think "Hey, I haven't been for years, maybe it'll be fun to catch up with these people who still remember me and want to see me!"

Edit the Second: Guys, see the mood? I'm being silly! Please don't get all defensive at me. You'll make Rossi pout and feel dumb. :P

That's all.
