Staggered home this morning and promptly passed out until around 1.30pm. Have to do it all over again at 5pm. *whimpers*

Still, wasn't too bad - busy enough to keep me awake for most of the night, although I could have done without the Internet going down around 2am. :P Still, at least aliciam was around and answering email (my work account was still up) - she basically kept me going for the very quiet three hours between 3am and 6am.

Highlights of the evening... We had a homicide come in just as I did - she'd been beaten pretty severely and had been on life support for a couple of days, essentially brain dead. Autopsy is happening today. Also... hanging seems to be the method du jour for suicides in Melbourne lately. And long weekends suck for domestics - I did something like twenty intervention orders over the night. Most of them pretty serious too.

Sometimes people suck.
