Happy birthday indianaj! I'm a day late here, but hah! It's still your birthday there!

Just spoke to Mum - Dad's surgery went well, and he's recovering. In pain, but that was to be expected. He should be in for a couple of days before they let him come home. Thanks to those who wished him well.

I hate phones. Just thought I'd say that.

Oh, and my work email is doing Strange Things - I'm either bouncing off addies that work perfectly well usually, or there's delays of many hours. I'm expecting a note from IT tomorrow about it, but if there isn't, I shall be asking...
