After my cursing and blaspheming of the mail gods last week or so, I have been showered with Plenty in the form of not one, but TWO parcels. The first was Delicate Creatures by JMS, sent by the highly esteemed
icewing. And it's very, very nice, rather Gaiman-esque in the subject-matter. And the pictures are stunning.When I got home (after tai chi and a phone call from David at work, chee!) there was another parcel, this one from
iamgerg, the book on Bhuddism he mentioned. And it's a lot easier to read than my Bhuddism For Beginners - very clear style, and the pages aren't cluttered with the pictures and cartoons in the other. :) So, smooches to both of you wonderful, wonderful people. :)

Tai chi tonight again - it leaves me feeling wonderfully energised, even after the ride home, more so than karate does. And it's eased a lot of the stiffness in my muscles (the second day is always worse than the first day after over-exercising), which is good - I was lying in bed this morning wondering if I would be able to get up. ;)
