Another working day draws to a close...

Nothing remarkable to report - came to work, did a whole bunch of applications, had the launching of the PERIN handbook, complete with free food (the only way to get public servants enthusiastic about things, give them food/alcohol), and then did some more applications until I got bored. Argued with a co-worker about the appropriate use of apostrophes. Oh, and one of my co-workers' betta died, a casualty, we suspect, of the boss's farewell last Friday night. So much for drinking like a fish.

Only one more day of work, tho'. I took Friday off to go play with pollymel and philf. A return to The 9th Ward is planned, with Phil hoping to see it sober, since he can't remember actually being there last time when qodarkness was down. And karate tonight, which will be good since there was no training on Monday owning to the Queen's Birthday weekend.

And in an hour I'm meeting up with pollymel, "lj user= "_bounce_"> and quixotic_sense for a little tete a tete before training.
