(listen:) grandma  • 爷: grandpa, old gentleman. Pronunciation: yé (2) • 奶: grandma, lady, milk. Pronunciation: nǎi (3) Notice the top part of 爷 is the character for father 父. The left part of 奶 is the character for female 女.
