I know that this year's BigBang continues posting but my involvement in it, as anything other than a reader, is done for the year. It was a LOT of fun fun I definitely look forward to being part of it again next year. I would LIKE to write for it but I'm not sure if or when that will happen as my fic writing is still limited to fairly short things and mostly Leverage based so far. If I can come up with a decent idea, we'll see. There is ONE prompt I came across quite some time ago that I would LOVE to take a crack at but I don't know if I could do it justice. :)

So, I was noticing an odd trend among some of the stuff I've been reading.  At the moment, among many others, there are five wip fics I'm reading that all involve one of the J2 being either deaf or blind.  One blind Jared, one blind Jensen and THREE where Jensen is deaf!  I'm still trying to decide if I should be disturbed by how much I'm enjoying them. XD  They are all really good stories, though.  So.....I think I might rec them!

So, there you go.  Hope others find enjoyment in these, too. :) All good writers and all worth reading, even if you're not a fan of wip.

A little while ago, I decided to do a banner manip to go with a fic I had been reading. The story had caught me, well and truly, and I was enjoying the imagery so much that I just had to do some art for it. At first, I was just going to do a generic piece for my own entertainment but the idea just worked so well as a banner that I had to do it.

The story is Purified By Innocence by Cas and Fetish. It's a medieval period AU fic with Sam and Dean, and I highly recommend giving it a read. It's still a wip but every update is well worth waiting for. :)

When I finished the banner, I gave it to the writers as a personal thank you for writing such an enjoyable story and was surprised to find out they REALLY liked it...enough so that they have actually used it for the story on the most recent update! Which is just so awesome of them and all I can say is thank you to them for doing that, for including my art in their awesome story. :)
