IT'S ALIVE! *cue dramatic music*

I've had exactly NO life for the last year and a half, and I still don't, but I'm determined to start posting again. Hopefully.

To further that aim, I signed up as an artist for this year's Kradam BB (yes, I'm more an Adommy fan but Kradam is still adorable) as an artist and evn managed to snag both the stories I really, really wanted. They all sounded really bloody amazing but there were two that jumped out at me...and they are MINE to do art for.  I just hope I can do them justice. :)

Can't wait to get chatting with the authors and sorting stuff out. *gleeful*

Hope everyone is doing well and still enjoying their various fandoms. Mine have multiplied but I haven't had a chance to add comms to my friends page so I may have to do that. Not that it's hard to tell some of the, just look at the gif banners on my page. XD Anyway, meanwhile, I do art! It's a weapon, you know.

Yes, I am still alive, I've just been really busy with work and life and all of that. Still a fan, of so many things, but too busy to work on art for all the lovely stories out there.  Too busy to watch all of SPN and even read all the stories as well, so...meh!

And yes, still upset about Leverage ending. *sad face*

Because I'm so busy, I spend more time listening to music than reading or watching tv so my major fandoms have moved around a little bit but it's mostly all there.

Love Adam Lambert, more Adommy than Kradam but hey!

Big MCR fan, always have been, but devastated they broke up so I'm mainlining their music again. Go Frerard!

Anyone ever noticed that Jared Leto is, like, the straight Adam Lambert? Or would it be that Adam is the gay Jared Leto? They're like twins, I swear.

Great title, right?  It's cause I really can't think of anything more interesting to put.

Not too much going on here, just trying ot get  my artworks done and ready for posting, working and writing in the mean time.

Speaking of which...



Yay!  Like I said, I'm probably going to go WAY over that target eventually but I'm giving myself goals as I go along.  I know it's taken a while to get here but it's definite progress and, so far, things are flowing along.

Now I just need to keep working on it and getting everything else done in the mean time. *headdesk*

So, I was invited to join deadflowers5 by  thebigbangjob and I did have a quick look around at it.  Decided not to add it to my already long list of sites I play on but it was pretty cool.  Though, maybe she was just tyring to make a point? *lol*

I do enjoy getting involved in BBs, which is probably a little bit easier for me as I'm just an artist and not an author...though maybe one day that will change.  We will see.  I just finished doing art for deadflowers5 though I only took on one author for the first time in about 3 years because I had a very busy couple of months at the same time.  Would have liked to do more art for that but oh well.  Skipped joining up for j2_kane_bigbang because, as much as I would have loved to do it, again I was pretty busy and I remember having to pull out of it last year. I still have ideas and plans along those lines that I'd like to do for art but it will have to wait until after about mid october.  Why?  :)

Cause I am currently working on two images for deadflowers5 (though one rough HAS been submitted already for the early bird entry) and am also working with two authors for thebigbangjob and two again for deadflowers5.  They're all due in the next month but thankfully the finals dates are staggered so all is good and I don't have to worry about having over extended myself.  They authored ones are all really cool stories and all very different so I get to really play around with imagery and what not.  Work still keeps me busy but it's not as flat out as it was a while ago so I'm going to work hard and do my best for each of these projects.  Can't wait to see what people think of the art and stories!

Meanwhile, I AM still writing though it's been slow lately and I HAVE been busy.  But it's getting there.  Will do an update on how much I've written soon and once I've got most of it written, then I'll go searching for a good beta to inflict my monster on. :)

Edit: Oh yah, I did manage to avoid the temptation of joing rpf_big_bang as well.  I know they were desperate for artists and WAS so very tempting, but I held of because I figure it would be too much. The proverbial straw, as it were.  Maybe next year....if I'm not already very commited...or just plain commited! *is crazy*

I'm still slowly working on my story, though I haven't made much progress in the last couple days because I've been too busy.  I have, however, been able to get a few other things done.

I just submitted my early bird art submission for the Reverse Bang so I just need to get my second submission done for the 19th and then that's all good.  Also, I'm just waiting to see who I ended up getting paired with on the Big Bang Job, which is the annual Leverage based challenge.  We had a few more authors and artists this year so I'm very curious to see which of my picks I end up with. :)

Otherwise, all is good and same old!  Hope everyone is well!

okay, yah I know. you guys are going to get thoroughly sick of me posting about this.  Last one for a while, promise

I'm just REALLY happy because I have a first chapter!  I know, not much of a big deal but for me it is.  It's over 3000 words and I am happy with where the story is going so far.  I'm enjoying being happy with it right now because I know there will come a point where it won't be going so well and I will want to throw things.  So, tonight we celebrate because we do not know what tomorrow will bring. :) *dances*
