Fehlercode zu kritischen Fehler im Dashboard

    Hallo, ich habe die letzten Tage eine Website gebaut und auf einer Seite gibt es auch einen Shop. Im Dashboard habe ich dann (als die Seite ca 60% fertig war) WooCommerce deaktiviert, weil ich den Shop nochmal von vorne bauen wollte, sozusagen wie Zurücksetzen.

    Nun kommt folgende Fehlermeldung im Dashboard:
    „Es gab einen kritischen Fehler auf dieser Website. Prüfe bitte den Posteingang deines Website-Administrators auf Anweisungen. Wenn du weiterhin Probleme hast, wende dich bitte an die Support-Foren.
    Erfahre mehr über die Problembehandlung in WordPress.“

    Ich nutze Windows 10 und Google Chrome und IONOS Webspace.

    Ich habe schon die Anleitung eines Moderators befolgt, um meinen Fehlercode via FTP vom Server zu bekommen.

    Super, dass du direkt den aufgetretenen Fehler rausgesucht hast. So kann man dir auch schnell dabei helfen.

    Der Fehler wird durch das von dir genutzte Plugin „PDF Invoices & Packing Slips for WooCommerce“ verursacht. Es vermisst eine Funktion die von WooCommerce bereitgestellt wird, da du dieses Plugin deaktiviert hast. Ist insgesamt als schlechte Programmierweise vom Plugin „PDF Invoices & Packing Slips for WooCommerce“ anzusehen.

    Lösen kannst du das indem du per FTP das Plugin-Verzeichnis von „PDF Invoices & Packing Slips for WooCommerce“ umbenennst oder entfernst. Das müsste unter /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-pdf-invoices-packing-slips/ zu finden sein. Anschließend sollte das Web wieder wie gewohnt funktionieren. Sobald du WooCommerce wieder aktiviert hast, solltest du auch dieses Plugin wieder reaktivieren oder reinstallieren.

    Übrigens: das von dir an deinem eigenen Computer genutzte Betriebssystem wie auch Browser spielt keinerlei Rolle hierfür. Dass du Windows 10 noch nutzt ist jedoch eine potentielle Gefahr für dich. Dafür gibt es seit einem Monat keinerlei Updates mehr von Microsoft und erst heute wurde eine extreme Lücke bekannt die nicht in diesem System korrigiert wird. Auch wenn deine WordPress-basierte Website davon nicht betroffen ist, kann es dir passieren, dass dein tägliches Arbeitswerkzeug nicht mehr funktionieren könnte.

Dafür gibt es seit einem Monat keinerlei Updates mehr von Microsoft und erst heute wurde eine extreme Lücke bekannt die nicht in diesem System korrigiert wird. Auch wenn deine WordPress-basierte Website davon nicht betroffen ist, kann es dir passieren, dass dein tägliches Arbeitswerkzeug nicht mehr funktionieren könnte.

    Auch wenn es nichts mit WordPress zu tun hat, das Thema (und der nicht unwichtige Hinweis auf Updates) aber gerade bezogen auf Windows 10 aufkam:
