WHAT IS ETERNITY?

1. It is the time after here.

We are all given a set time, a period to live
on this earth. To be born, work, marry and so
on but soon we enter into the last hours of
our days on this earth. When Eternity knocks
on our earthly time, we cannot but to open
the door and embrace it.

2. It is the train that waits for both the

early and late passengers.
The souls of men depart to eternity at
different times. Some people at age one and
others at one hundred and twenty (120) years.
Some depart very early and others very late.
However the train driver keeps waiting even
if you get to the train station and decide to
rest. He knows you will surely get on board!

3. It is the world we can't see with our

physical eyes.
Eternity is a spiritual world. We are not able
to see this world with our physical eyes,
however it exists whether you believe it or

[8]
not. Your belief does not add or deduct from
its existence.
4. Eternity is the timeless world that meets
our time- bound earth.
In eternity, life is not bound by time; it is not
bound by life- expectancy. It is not bound by
maturity or naivety. Eternity is not bound by
70 years or 1000 years. It is forever- eternal in
nature.

WHY YOU MUST BE CONCERNED

[Link] must be concerned because your
earthly life has an expiry date.
And as it is appointed unto men once to die
but after this the judgment. Hebrews
9:27

It is one of three things.

A. Either Jesus Christ comes while you are

alive

Verily I say unto you, There be some

[9]
standing here, which shall not taste death till
they see the Son of man coming in His
Kingdom Acts 9:1

B. Either you die to meet Jesus Christ in

judgment,

And all the days that Adam lived were nine

hundred and thirty years: and he died
Genesis 5:5

And Joseph died and all his brethren and all

that generation Exodus 1:6

C. Or you go to meet Jesus Christ like

Enoch and Elijah in the Bible

And Enoch walked with God and He was not;

for God took him Genesis 5:24

by faith Enoch was translated that he should not

see death … Hebrews 11:5

….and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into

heaven Kings 2:11

[10]
2. You must be concerned because you don't
control eternity.

No matter who you are, what you are, who your

connections or relations are, how big or small
your finances are or how powerful you are, you
don't dictate in eternity. You don't control it. It
is not in your will. You don't determine how or
who should rule and who should clean the floor
in eternity. You don't determine where your
choice house in eternity should be once you are
there! Eternity is under the supreme will of God
the father and His Son Jesus Christ.

3. You must be concerned because you

cannot prevent yourself or anybody from
going to eternity.

To everything there is a season, and a time to

every purpose under the heaven: A time to be
born and a time to die. Ecclesiastes 3:1

If you had the opportunity to live, you will also

likely have the opportunity to die. Manners,

[11]
ethics, good deeds or bad deeds cannot take the
place of this reality!
4. You must be concerned because Heaven is
real and Hell is real

…The angel of the Lord stand between the earth

and the heaven, 1 Chronicles 21:16

Till the Lord look down and behold from heaven

Lamentations 3:50

Though they dig into hell, thence shall

mine hand take them; though they climb up to
heaven, thence will I bring them down.
Amos 9:2

For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall

burn unto the lowest hell. Deuteronomy 32:22

The wicked shall be turned into hell, and

all the nations that forget God. Psalms 9:17

The way of life is above to the wise that he may

depart from hell beneath Proverbs 15:24

[12]
Consider this

… And it came to pass, that the beggar died,

and was carried by the angels into Abraham's
bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments,
and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his
bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham,
have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he
may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool
my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
Luke 16:22- 24

Let it be known to the world that Heaven is real

and Hell is also real. Your philosophies,
education or level in society and beliefs cannot
change this.

LIFE AND ITS PURPOSE

And God said, Let us make man in our image,

after our likeness: and let them have dominion
over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of
the air, and over the cattle, and over all the
earth, and over every creeping thing that

[13]
creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in
his own image, in the image of God created

he him; male and female created he them. And

God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be
fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth,
and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish
of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over
every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
And God said, Behold, I have given you every
herb bearing seed, which is upon
the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the
which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you
it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the
earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to
everything that creepeth upon the earth,
wherein there is life, I have given every green
herb for meat: and it was so. And God saw
everything that he had made, and, behold, it
was very good. And the evening and the
morning were the sixth day.
Genesis 1:26- 31

A. To exemplify or show the nature of

God, both inwardly and outwardly.

[14]
Note that though God created many things and
man was not the first of His creations, Man was
indeed the first to have his image. Not animals,
angels, stars or trees! He really wanted man to
be like Him in all form.

B. It was Gods desire and will that man will

have a purpose of dominating or ruling
over all the other creations of God on earth.
Man was not made to be at par with a
monkey or baboon or chimpanzee. Man is
higher in nature. Man was God exemplified.

C. Another purpose for the creation of man

as we learn from the Bible in Genesis is to be
fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the
earth, and subdue it. We are made to be
fruitful in body, in spirit and in works!

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou

mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy
soul prospereth.
3John 1:2

D. There is a certain mystery in God that

[15]
He wanted and still wants to reveal through
man through a fellowship with Him. It's one
of the reasons He created man.

- And to make all men see what [is] the

fellowship of the mystery, which from the
beginning of the world hath been hid in God
Ephesians 3:9-10
E. Another purpose of life is to be a vessel for
the very glory of God.
You certainly have no idea what the magnitude
of this glory is. I don't- I believe there is more to
God than what we have experienced, seen or
heard.

… So that the priests could not stand to minister

by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord
had filled the house of God. 2 Chronicles 5:14

F. Man is also created to do good works- To

love God and to show God's love to others.
Consider the Ten Commandments found in
Exodus 20.

Jesus Christ later summarized the Ten

Commandments in the New Testament

[16]
Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked
him a question, tempting him, and saying,
Master, which is the great commandment in the
law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the
Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy
soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and
great commandment. And the
second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy
neighbour as thyself.
On these two commandments hang all the law
and the prophets. Matthew 22:35- 40

A reflective reading of Christ's teaching reveals

that the first four commandments are contained
in the statement: "Love the Lord your God with
all your heart and with all your soul and with all
your mind." It continues that the last six
commandments are enclosed in the statement:
"Love your neighbor as yourself."
If you love your neighbour as yourself you will
not do anything bad to hurt him or her. You will
not cut off his hand. You will not destroy his
home in the name of political power. You will
not disrespect and humiliate him or her because
you are the boss and he is an employee. You

[17]
will not create nuclear bombs waiting for
offence. Jesus Christ, the one who is greater
than any person, group or country says love
your neighbor as yourself. Most of the world's
problems today are as a result of hate. Let love
prevail and our differences will diminish. Let
love lead and selfishness will be no more! God
is speaking to both the president and maid- who
were created to work the works of godly love.

.. unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of

good works Titus 2:14.

He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and

what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do
justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly
with thy God? Micah 6:8

G. Another purpose of our lives on earth is to

worship God. We are not here by mistake or
chance.
Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name:
bring an offering, and come before him:
worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness
1 Chronicles 16:29.

[18]
DEATH AND ITS PURPOSE

There are basically two types of death.

A. Physical death and
B. Spiritual death

You must understand that man is a spirit, has a

soul and lives in a body. The body is the
physical aspect of man.
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly;
and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and
body be preserved blameless unto the coming of
our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Thessalonians 5:23

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the

ground, and breathed into his nostrils the
breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Genesis 2:7

.. And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed

unto the Lord, and wept sore. 1 Samuel 1:10

Hannah had a soul.

[19]
And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I
am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk
neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured
out my soul before the Lord. 1 Samuel 1:15

Hannah knew she also had a spirit. The sadness

of her soul was the sadness of her spirit.

Man has a spirit!

The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord,

searching all the inward parts of the belly.
Proverbs 20:27

That he would grant you, according to the

riches of his glory, to be strengthened with
might by his Spirit in the inner man;
Ephesians 3:16

Man has an inner man!.

What Is The Physical Death?

It is the death of the physical body. The body
which is dust, taken from the dust of the ground,
returns to this same dust of the earth

[20]
..till thou return unto the ground; for out of it
wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust
shalt thou return. Genesis 3:19

The death of the body is the death of the

container of the true man. Man is a spirit!

What Is The Spiritual Death?

Spiritual death is the death of the spirit of man.
Spiritual death is eternal condemnation to hell.
Thus says the Spirit of God. Until they turn
away from their sins and repent from their
sinful ways, they are bound to eternal
condemnation- Hell. Some people are living-
dead. When Adam and Eve ate from the tree of
the knowledge of good and evil, they became
dead though alive.

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but

he that believeth not is condemned already,
because he hath not believed in the name of the
only begotten Son of God John 3:18
The only begotten Son of God is Jesus Christ.
Through him man is reconciled onto God- the
source of life. We get hold of eternal life spent

[21]
with God in Heaven. Through him we escape
Hell and enter into everlasting glory of joy and
true fulfillment.

Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first

resurrection: on such the second death hath no
power, but they shall be priests of God and of
Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand
years. Revelations 20:6

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the

abominable, and murderers, and
whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters,
and all liars, shall have their part in the lake
which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is
the second death.
Revelations 21:8

What Is The Purpose Of Death?

Death happens to man to fulfill the word of
God.

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but

after this the judgment Hebrews 9:27

[22]
Death is a door that ushers man into eternity.
Death is a channel that brings man to either
eternity spent with God in joy or eternity spent
in hell with anguish and torments.

And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and

was carried by the angels into Abraham's
bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments,
and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his
bosom.
Luke 16:22
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the
last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and
the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we
shall be changed. For this corruptible must
put on incorruption, and this mortal must put
on immortality. 1 Corinthians 15: 52

PEOPLE THAT LIVED. YOUR KIND

HAS LIVED BEFORE!

1. Bingu Wa Mutharika
Bingu wa Mutharika (born Brightson Webster
Ryson Thom; 24 February 1934 – 5 April

[23]
2012) was a Malawian politician and
economist who was President of Malawi from
May 2004 until his death. He was also
President of the Democratic Progressive Party,
which he founded in February 2005; it
obtained a majority in Malawi's parliament in
the 2009 general election. During his two
terms in office he was noted for presiding over
as the Chairperson of the African Union in
2010–2011. He died of a heart attack in
Lilongwe on 5 April 2012.

Early life and career

Bingu wa Mutharika was born on 24 February
1934 in Thyolo. Mutharika's parents, Ryson
Thom Mutharika and Eleni Thom Mutharika,
were both members of the Church of Scotland
Mission which later became Church of Central
Africa. His father was a teacher for 37 years
and his mother taught the women of the
Mvano group.
Upon completing Henri Henderson Institute in
Blantyre, Mutharika obtained a Grade A
Cambridge Overseas School Leaving
Certificate at Dedza Secondary School in

[24]
[Link] 1964, he was one of the 32 Malawians
selected by Hastings Kamuzu Banda
(President of Malawi 1961–1994) to travel
to India on an Indira Gandhi scholarship for
'fast track' diplomas.

In India, Mutharika earned his Bachelor's

degree in Economics from the Shri Ram
College of Commerce, Delhi. Subsequently,
he attended the Delhi School of Economics
graduating with a M.A. degree in
Economics. He later obtained a PhD degree
in Development Economics from Pacific
Western Universit
Mutharika also completed short courses on
Business Management, Financial Analysis,
Trade Promotion, Political Leadership,
regional Economic Co-operation and Human
Relations.

Mutharika served in the Malawi civil service.

He served as an administrative officer in the
Government of Malawi and also in Zambia.
He was offered the Deputy Governorship of
the reserve Bank of Malawi and appointed
Minister of Economic Planning and

[25]
Development in 2002. He also worked at the
World Bank as a Loans Officer and at the
United Nations Economic Commission of
Africa, as Director of Trade and Development
Finance and as Secretary General of the
Common Market for Eastern and Southern
Africa COMESA, covering 22 Member
States.

President
Mutharika was nominated by President Muluzi
as his successor. Mutharika won the
presidential election on 20 May 2004, ahead of
John Tembo and Gwanda Chakuamba, and
took office a few days later.
On 7 October 2006, Mutharika stated his
intention to seek re-election in the 2009
presidential election as the DPP candidate.
Two years later, in October 2008, the DPP's
national governing council unanimously chose
Mutharika as the party's candidate for the 2009
election, which he won with 66.7% of the
vote.

[26]
First term
During President Mutharika's first term in
office (2004–2008), the country achieved a
high rate of agricultural production and food
security. The President's initiatives, centred on
a programme of agricultural subsidy, benefited
approximately 1,700,000 resource poor
smallholder farmers. In the 2005/2006 crop
season, Malawi achieved a food surplus of
more than 500,000 metric tons. During the
2008/2009 planting season, food surpluses
topped 1.3 million metric tons. This
agricultural policy was widely regarded as
successful but expensive, and was curtailed in
2011.

Second term
Under his tenure, the constitutionally
enshrined human rights and separation of
powers were enhanced, including legal
reform. His first term was seen as a broad
political success. He has also been credited
with committing to and presiding over
economic reform, fiscal restraint and anti-
corruption measures. During his tenure, the
election was recognised by monitors as fair.

[27]
Mutharika's Malawi Growth and Development
Strategy for 2006–2011 prioritised the
enhancement of: agriculture and food security,
education, transport, energy generation, rural
development, irrigation and water
development, youth development and anti-
corruption initiatives.
In 2009, Malawi's Ministry of Finance
estimated that during the previous four years
the share of Malawians living below the
poverty line fell from 52 percent to 40
percent. This has been attributed to the
country's agricultural policies, which have
been seen as pioneering in the context of
African economic development.

Titles, honours and awards

Mutharika received the following awards:
The United Nations Special Millennium
development Goal Award (2010) for success
towards eliminating hunger by enhancing
food security ahead of the 2015

2. Princess Diana
On 31 August 1997, Diana, Princess of
Wales died as a result of injuries sustained in
a car crash in the Pont de l'Alma road tunnel
in Paris, France. Her boyfriend, Dodi Fayed,
and the driver of the Mercedes-Benz W140,
Henri Paul, were also pronounced dead at
the scene; the bodyguard of Diana and Dodi,
Trevor Rees-Jones, was the only survivor.
Although the media pinned the blame on the
paparazzi, the crash was found to be caused
by the reckless actions of the chauffeur, who
was the head of security at the Ritz and had
earlier goaded the paparazzi waiting outside
the hotel. An 18-month French judicial
investigation found in 1999 that the crash
was caused by
Paul, who lost control of the car at high
speed while drunk.

Diana, Princess of Wales (Diana Frances;

née Spencer; 1 July 1961 – 31 August 1997),
was the first wife of Charles, Prince of
Wales, the eldest child and heir apparent of
Queen Elizabeth II. Diana was born into an
aristocratic English family with royal

[31]
ancestry as The Honourable Diana Spencer.
She was the fourth child of John Spencer,
Viscount Althorp and his first wife, the
Honourable Frances Roche, daughter of the
4th Baron Fermoy. Diana became Lady
Diana Spencer when her father inherited the
title of Earl Spencer in 1975. She became a
public figure with the announcement of her
engagement.
Her wedding to the Prince of Wales on 29 July
1981 was held at St Paul's Cathedral and
seen by a global television audience of over
750 million. While married she bore the
titles Princess of Wales, Duchess of
Cornwall, Duchess of Rothesay, Countess
of Chester and Baroness of Renfrew. The
marriage produced two sons, the princes
William and Harry,
After her marriage, she undertook a variety
of public engagements. She was well known
for her fund-raising work for international
charities and as an eminent celebrity of the late
20th century. She also received recognition
for her charity work and for her support of
the International Campaign to Ban
Landmines. From 1989, she was the

[32]
president of Great Ormond Street Hospital
for children, in addition to dozens of other
charities.

3. Michael Jackson
Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 –
June 25, 2009) was an American singer-
songwriter, dancer, businessman and
philanthropist. Often referred to by the
nickname "King of Pop", or by his initials
MJ, Jackson is recognized as the most
successful entertainer of all time by Guinness
World Records.
The eighth child of the Jackson family, he
debuted on the professional music scene
along with his brothers as a member of The
Jackson 5 in 1964, and began his solo career
in 1971. In the early 1980s, Jackson became
the dominant figure in popular music.
The music videos for his songs, including
those of "Beat It," "Billie Jean," and "Thriller,"
were credited with breaking down racial
barriers and transforming the medium into an
art form and promotional tool. The popularity
of these videos helped to bring the then
relatively new television channel MTV to

[33]
fame. With videos such as "Black or White" and
"Scream" he continued to innovate the medium
throughout the 1990s, as well as forging a
reputation as a touring solo artist. Through
stage and video performances, Jackson
popularized a number of complicated dance
techniques, such as the robot, and the
moonwalk, to which he gave the name. His
distinctive sound and style has influenced
numerous hip hop, post-disco, contemporary
R&B, pop, and rock artists.

He was also inducted into the Dance Hall of

Fame as the first and only dancer from pop
and rock music. Some of his other
achievements include multiple Guinness
World Records; 13 Grammy Awards as well as
the Grammy Legend Award and the Grammy
Lifetime Achievement Award;26 American
Music Awards, more than any other artist.
Jackson has won hundreds of awards, making
him the most-awarded recording artist in the
history of popular music. The 2000 Guinness
Book of Records recognized him for
supporting 39 charities.

[34]
Aspects of Jackson's personal life, including
his changing appearance, personal
relationships, and behavior, generated
controversy. In the mid-1990s, he was accused
of child sexual abuse, but the case was settled
out of court for about $25 million and no
formal charges were brought.

While preparing for his comeback concert

series titled This Is It, Jackson died of acute
propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication on
June 25, 2009, after suffering from cardiac
arrest. The Los Angeles County Coroner ruled
his death a homicide, and his personal
physician was convicted of involuntary
manslaughter. Jackson's death triggered a
global outpouring of grief and a live broadcast
of his public memorial service was viewed
around the world.
I could write about so many others including
maids, carpenters, masons, presidents , chief
executive officers, pastors and those whose
names did not really go beyond their
neighborhoods including a past uncle Joseph
Anang Boye who later changed his name to
Andy Boye but space may not permit me. I
am leaving this page so you could write the

names of your loved ones and those you
know who have gone into eternity.

CHOOSE HEAVEN AND ESCAPE HELL

The way of life is above to the wise that he

may
depart from hell beneath Proverbs 15:24

We make many choices during our lives. We

choose whether we obey our parents as we
grow up. We choose whether we study in
school. We choose the college that we attend.

[36]
We choose our hopefully lifelong spouse. We
choose our occupation. This is just a few of
the choices that we make. We actually make
many choices daily. We choose what we will
eat, what we will do that day, what we will
watch on TV and when we will go to bed. Our
lives seem to be nothing but choices. For most
of these choices we put little thought into
them, but there is one choice that everyone
must make. It is a choice that will affect our
lives forever, even after death. That choice is
whether we will accept Jesus Christ, God’s
one and only Son, as our Savior and Lord.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his
only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in
him should not perish, but have everlasting
life. For God sent not his Son into the world to
condemn the world; but that the world through
him might be saved. He that believeth on him
is not condemned: but he that believeth not is
condemned already, because he hath not
believed in the name of the only begotten Son
of God. And this is the condemnation, that
light is come into the world, and men loved
darkness rather than light, because their deeds
were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth
the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his

[37]
deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth
truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be
made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
John 3:16- 21

We have all sinned and fallen short of the

Glory of God. Jesus allowed Himself to be
nailed to a cross and while hanging there, He
took upon Himself all of our sins. This is a free
gift that God gave us, but it is a gift that we
must choose to accept. It comes down to
whether we choose Heaven or we choose hell.

BE BORN AGAIN!

There was a man of the Pharisees, named

Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same
came to Jesus by night, and said unto him,
Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come
from God: for no man can do these miracles
that thou doest, except God be with him. Jesus
answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I
say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he
cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus
saith unto him, How can a man be born when

[38]
he is old? can he enter the second time into his
mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered,
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be
born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter
into the kingdom of God. That which is born of
the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the
Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto
thee, Ye must be born again. John 3:1- 7

Jesus says you must be born again.

Nine things that are not the same as

being born again

1. Being a bible teacher is not the same as

being born again.
2. Being a pastor, a prophet or bishop is not the
same as being born again
3. Being born in a Jewish family is not the
same as being born again.
4. Having high moral and ethical standards is
not the same as being born again.

[39]
5. Going on a tour of Israel or inhaling from
there is not the same as being born again.
6. Being famous and accepted by many is not
the same as being born again.
7. Having inferiority complex or coming from
a poor family is not the same as being born
again.
8. Being a friend of a pastor or having a
Charity organizations is not the same as being
born again.
9. Having a doctorate degree or attaining the
highest level in education is not the same as
being born again.
If we receive the witness of men, the witness of
God is greater: for this is the witness of God
which he hath testified of his Son. He that
believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in
himself: he that believeth not God hath made
him a liar; because he believeth not the record
that God gave of his Son. And this is the
record, that God hath given to us eternal life,
and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son
hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God
hath not life. 1John 5:9-12

[40]
What does it mean to be a born-again
Christian?
The classic passage from the Bible that
answers this question is John 3:1-21. The Lord
Jesus Christ is talking to Nicodemus, a
prominent Pharisee and member of the
Sanhedrin (the ruling body of the Jews).
Nicodemus had come to Jesus at night with
some questions. As Jesus talked with
Nicodemus, He said, ―'I tell you the truth, no
one can see the kingdom of God unless he is
born again.' 'How can a man be born when he
is old?' Nicodemus asked.
The phrase "born again" literally means "born
from above." Nicodemus had a real need. He
needed a change of his heart—a spiritual
transformation. New birth, being born again, is
an act of God whereby eternal life is imparted
to the person who believes (2 Corinthians
5:17; Titus 3:5;1 John 2:29; John 1:12, 13
indicates that being "born again" also carries
the idea of "becoming children of God"
through trust in the name of Jesus Christ.

The question logically comes, "Why does a

person need to be born again?" The apostle

[41]
Paul in Ephesians 2:1 says, "And you He made
alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins"
(NKJV). To the Romans he wrote, "For all
have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"
(Romans 3:23). Sinners are spiritually ―dead‖;
when they receive spiritual life through faith in
Christ, the Bible likens it to a rebirth. Only
those who are born again have their sins
forgiven and have a relationship with God. If
you want to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior
and be born again, here is a sample prayer.
Remember, saying this prayer is not enough
unless you truly trust or believe in Jesus Christ
that He can save you from sin.

The Salvation Prayer

The Salvation Prayer(sometimes referred to as
the Sinner's Prayer) below, isn't any "official
prayer" but rather a sample prayer to follow
when asking Jesus into your heart. You can
pray to God in your own words. Regarding the
location of the Sinner's Prayer in the Bible?
Well, there isn't one mentioned; it is only
implied.

[42]
The basis of the Sinner's Prayer comes from
Romans 10:9-10. "That if thou shalt confess
with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt
believe in thine heart that God hath raised him
from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with
the heart man believeth unto righteousness;
and with the mouth confession is made unto
salvation.‖

Dear God in heaven, I come to you in the

name of Jesus. I acknowledge to You that I
am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and
the life that I have lived; I need your
forgiveness.

I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus

Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now
willing to turn from my sin.

You said in Your Holy Word, Romans 10:9

that if we confess the Lord our God and
believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus
from the dead, we shall be saved.

Right now I confess Jesus as the Lord of my

soul. With my heart, I believe that God

[43]
raised Jesus from the dead. This very
moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own
personal Savior and according to His Word,
right now I am saved. Thank you Jesus for
dying for me and giving me eternal life.
Amen.
If you just said this prayer and you meant it
with all your heart and you have repented from
your sins, I believe that you just got saved and
are born again. You may ask, "Now that I am
saved, what's next?" First of all you need to
get into a bible-based church or fellowship ,
and study God's Word. It is through water-
baptism that you show your obedience to the
Lord. Water baptism is a symbol of your
salvation from the dead.
You were dead but now you live, for the Lord
Jesus Christ has redeemed you for a price! The
price was His death on the cross, the shedding
of His spotless blood. May God Bless You!

BAPTISM

There are two types of baptism;

1. Water baptism and
2. baptism of the holy ghost

[44]
Water Baptism
Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan
unto John, to be baptized of him. But John
forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized
of thee, and comest thou to me? And Jesus
answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so
now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all
righteousness. Then he suffered him. And
Jesus, when he was baptized, went up
straightway out of the water: and, lo, the
heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the
Spirit of God descending like a dove, and
lighting upon him: And lo a voice from
heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in
whom I am well pleased. Matthew 3:13- 17
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be
baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus
Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall
receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38

For as many of you as have been baptized into

Christ have put on Christ. Galatians 3:27

The baptism of water is a baptism unto

repentance.

[45]
Baptism Of The Holy Ghost
I indeed baptize you with water unto
repentance: but he that cometh after me is
mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy
to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy
Ghost, and with fire: Matthew 3:11
And when Paul had laid his hands upon them,
the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake
with tongues, and prophesied. Acts 19:6

The baptism of the holy spirit imparts the gifts

of prophecy, dreams and visions. It also brings
about the speaking of tongues and the fruits of
the spirit. Joel 2: 28, Acts 2:4, Galatians 5: 22

WHAT NEXT?
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye
transformed by the renewing of your mind,
that ye may prove what is that good, and
acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Romans 12:2

Continuously renew your mind and your

actions by finding a true bible believing

[46]
church to attend. Also personally study the
bible regularly so as not to be led astray by
false teachings.

LET SOMEBODY KNOW. WE ARE ALL

CALLED TO EVANGELIZE.
When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely
die; and thou givest him not warning, nor
speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked
way, to save his life; the same wicked man
shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I
require at thine hand. Ezekiel 3:18,
Mark 16: 15

Lead people to christ Jesus by living an

exemplary life, teach and make known this
salvation. God bless you as you do His will.
