l. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
a. identify Electrical Tools and Materials;
b. differentiate Tools and Materials;
c. appreciate the value of knowing and using of the different tools
and materials used in Electrical wiring installation

Topic : Electrical Tools and Materials
Materials: Laptop, TV monitor, Etc.

lll. PROCEDURE
A. Preparation
1. Review
The teacher will review or give a short recap of the previous lesson.
The teacher will show the different forms used in requesting materials
Apply knowledge of content within and across curriculum teaching
areas
Select, develop, organize and use appropriate teaching learning
resources, including ICT, to address learning goals
2. Motivation
The teacher will show a picture showing the different tools and materials
used in electrical wiring installation
After showing the picture, the teacher will ask the following questions;
* What is this picture all about?
* What is the use of tools and materials in electrical wiring
installation?
Apply knowledge of content within and across curriculum teaching
areas
3. Setting of Objectives
The teacher will present the learning objectives
B. Presentation
1. Activity
The teacher will conduct a pre-test in relation to the new topic/lesson using
audio/video presentation.
Select, develop, organize and use appropriate teaching learning
resources, including ICT, to address learning goals
Plan and deliver teaching strategies that are responsive to the special
education needs of learners in difficult circumstances, including:
geographic isolation; chronic illness; displacement due to armed
conflict, urban resettlement or disasters; child abuse and child labor
practices
2. Analysis
At the end of the activity, the teacher will ask the students about how to
identify the different Electrical Tools and Materials and how they are going to
use these tools and materials.
3. Abstraction
With the use of audio/video presentation, the teacher will further discuss
the new lesson/topic to deepen their understanding

4. Application
The teacher will instruct the students to select an electrical tool/material
that they matter most
And they have to present it through Drawing, Hugot lines etc.
The students will be given 3-5 minuets to do the taslk.

Screw Driver
1. This has a cross tip resembling a positive (+) sign. It is used to drive screws with cross
slot heads.
2. A tool used for removing insulation of medium sized wires ranging from gauge #10 to
gauge #16.
3. Comes in either Standard or Philips screw driver with short shank or blade and
shorted handle used to turn screws in tight space where standard screw driver cannot
be used.
4. This is a circuit protective device that automatically blows and cut the current when
an over load or short circuit happens.
5. It is an octagonal shaped electrical material where the connections or joints of wires
are being done. It is also used where the flush type lamp holder is attached. Too
