Updates benötigen. Lesen Sie diese Hinweise vor der Installation.

Windows 7 / Windows Server 2008 R2: Ungültige Zertifikatsvalidierung

Die neuen, zur Signierung verwendeten Zertifikate werden auf den Betriebssystemen Windows 7
und Windows Server 2008 R2 möglicherweise nicht validiert.
Wenn Sie keine Möglichkeit haben, den Zertifikatspeicher online zu aktualisieren,
wird gegebenenfalls die Signatur der Produktdateien als ungültig angezeigt.
Aktualisieren Sie in diesem Fall auf den Offline-Systemen die von Microsoft bereitgestellten
Root Zertifikate (Stammzertifikate). Folgen Sie dafür den Anweisungen im FAQ 109748887:

WebNavigator-Server: Sichere Verbindung über HTTPS verwenden

Um die Sicherheit Ihrer Kommunikation zu erhöhen, konfigurieren Sie den WebNavigator-Server
so, dass nur HTTPS-Verbindungen unterstützt werden. Dafür benötigen Sie ein digitales Zertifikat
für Ihren WebNavigator-Server. Nähere Informationen finden Sie im Microsoft Support unter

Websiteübergreifende Anforderungsfälschung beim WebNavigator vermeiden

(Cross Site Request Forgery)
Die websiteübergreifende Anforderungsfälschung ähnelt der Schwachstelle durch
siteübergreifendes Skripting (XSS, Cross Site Scripting).
Der Angriff wird ausgelöst, wenn ein authentifizierter Benutzer auf einen bösartigen Link klickt.
Diese Schwachstelle existiert auch, wenn Skripting im Browser deaktiviert ist.
Siemens empfiehlt:
• Arbeiten Sie mit keinen anderen Anwendungen oder Diensten,
die mit dem Internet zu tun haben.
• Melden Sie sich ab, wenn Sie den WebNavigator nicht mehr benötigen.

1.2 Lieferumfang
Der Lieferumfang des Pakets umfasst:
• Update 19 (K7.3.0.19) für das Softwarepaket WinCC V7.3 SE incl. Update 1.
Dieses Update enthält alle Korrekturen, die in Updates oder Patches
für V7.3 SE incl. Update 1 frei gegeben wurden.
Das Update ist auch für Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 SP3 frei gegeben (KB2979597).

1.3 Hardware-Voraussetzungen
Keine Änderung gegenüber WinCC V7.3 SE incl. Update 1

1.4 Software-Voraussetzungen
WinCC V7.3 SE incl. Update 1 oder mindestens eine Option von WinCC V7.3 SE incl. Update 1.

1.5 Installation
1.5.1 Installation des Updates
Beenden Sie alle Applikationen (z. B. WinCC RT, MS Word usw.) vor dem Setup-Start.
Update über Download-Datei
Wenn Ihnen das Update als selbstextrahierende Download-Datei vorliegt, dann entpacken Sie
dieses Update nur auf einem PC mit installiertem WinCC V7.3 SE incl. Update 1.
Wenn Sie dieses Update auf einem PC ohne installiertes WinCC benötigen, dann kopieren Sie
das entpackte Update auf diesen PC.
Entpacken Sie die EXE-Datei auf Ihre Festplatte und doppelklicken Sie auf die Datei [Link].
Autostart deaktivieren
Wenn Sie die Funktion "WinCC-AutoStart" verwenden, deaktivieren Sie diese vor der
Software-Aktualisierung.
• Client:
"Start > SIMATIC > WinCC > Autostart"
• Server:
"Start > SIMATIC > WinCC > Autostart" bzw.
"Start > SIMATIC > SIMATIC Net > PC-Station einstellen > Applikationen > Autostart"
Starten Sie nach dem Deaktivieren von WinCC Autostart den PC neu.
Installation durchführen
Das Setup-Programm führt Sie durch die gesamte Installation.
Nach der Installation ist abhängig von der Systemkonfiguration ein Neustart erforderlich.
Wird während des Setup, nachdem Sie die Bedingungen zur Lizenzvereinbarung akzeptiert
haben, die Schaltfläche "Weiter" nicht aktiv geschaltet, können Sie das Setup abbrechen.
In diesem Fall wurde das Update schon auf dem PC installiert und somit ist keine Aktualisierung
der installierten Komponenten notwendig.
Update-Installation in einem verteilten System
Installieren Sie das Update auf allen PCs Ihrer Anlage.
Wenn auf den Clients bzw. Servern unterschiedliche Update-Versionen installiert sind, ist keine
Projektierungsänderung im WinCC-Projekt möglich.
Nachinstallation
Wenn Sie eine Nachinstallation von der Liefer-DVD durchgeführt haben, müssen Sie das Update
erneut installieren.

1.5.2 Zusätzliche Informationen zu den WinCC-Optionen
Wenn Sie Optionen von der Liefer-DVD nachinstallieren, müssen Sie für diese Optionen das
Update erneut installieren.
Installation des Update für WinCC/WebNavigator
Um dem WebNavigator Client die aktuelle Version der Plug-Ins zur Verfügung zu stellen, starten
Sie nach der Update-Installation auf dem WebNavigator Server den WinCC Web Configurator.
Update des Web-Client V6.x über Download
Wenn Sie für die Update-Installation auf einem Web-Client V6.x das Download vom Web-Server
verwenden, dann deinstallieren Sie zuerst den bestehenden Web-Client. Wenn Sie den
Web-Client nicht deinstalliert haben, zeigt das Setup-Programm eine entsprechende Meldung an.

3.2 Hinweise zu Update 2 bis Update 18
Wenn Sie bereits eines der vorhergehenden Updates installiert und die dafür benötigte Aktion
ausgeführt haben, können Sie die folgenden Anweisungen überspringen.
Wenn Sie die beschriebenen Aktionen noch nicht durchgeführt haben, prüfen Sie, ob diese
für Ihr Projekt nötig sind. Falls ja, folgen Sie den Anweisungen.

3.2.1 ODK: Libraries und Headers (Update 3)

Die aktuellen Libraries und Headers für das Übersetzen von eigenen Anwendungen finden Sie
im WinCC Update-Pfad unter "..\InstData\WinCCODK".

3.2.2 WinCC Kanal "Mitsubishi Ethernet": Update 7 oder höher installieren (Update 7)
Wenn Sie den Mitsubishi Ethernet-Kanal einsetzen, beachten Sie folgenden Hinweis:
Um mögliche Verbindungsunterbrechungen zu vermeiden, wird die Installation
des Update 7 oder höher für WinCC V7.3 dringend empfohlen.

3.2.3 Formatanpassung von Prozessvariablen: STEP 7 ab V5.5 SP4 Update 9 benötigt

Für die korrekte Formatanpassung von Prozessvariablen muss STEP 7 ab V5.5 SP4 Hotfix 9
installiert sein.

3.2.4 WinCC-Kanal "S7DOS V9" (Update 16)

Um die Funktionen von S7DOS V9 vollständig zu nutzen, benötigen Sie das IPv4-Protokoll.
Lassen Sie darum in den Ethernet-Eigenschaften der Netzwerkadapter bzw.
der SIMATIC Ethernet CPs das IPv4-Protokoll aktiviert.

3.2.5 Graphic Object Update Wizard: Bausteinnamen enden auf "-" (Update 18)
Die Option "Aufspalten der Variablennamen" beim Export von Bildobjekten exportiert die Ebenen
der Technischen Hierarchie in getrennte Spalten.
Wenn Sie Bausteinnamen verwenden, die nur aus dem Bindestrich "-" bestehen oder mit dem
Bindestrich enden, gehen Sie folgendermaßen vor:
Vorgehen
1. Öffnen Sie im WinCC-Projekt den OS-Projekteditor.
2. Aktivieren Sie auf der Registerkarte "Grunddaten" die Option
"Konfiguration für Graphics Object Update Wizard aktualisieren".
3. Um den OS-Projekteditor durchlaufen zu lassen, klicken Sie auf "OK".
4. Öffnen Sie im Ordner "<Projektverzeichnis>\WScripts" die Konfigurationsdatei
in einem Texteditor, z. B. Notepad.
Als Standard verwendet der Graphic Object Update Wizard die Datei
"[Link]".
5. Aktivieren Sie im Abschnitt [General] die Einstellung für Bindestriche im Bausteinnamen:
- ConsiderHyphenForBlockName = 1
Wenn der Eintrag noch nicht angelegt ist, ergänzen Sie die Zeile im Abschnitt [General].
6. Speichern Sie die Datei.
7. Öffnen Sie die Prozessbilder im Graphics Designer und führen Sie den Export aus.
Ergebnis
Beim Import werden auch die Variablennamen mit Bindestrich als letztes Zeichen wieder korrekt
aus den Baustein-Spalten zusammengesetzt.

The new certificates used for signing may possibly not be validated on the operating systems

files may be shown as invalid.
In this case, update the root certificates provided by Microsoft on the offline systems.

WebNavigator Server: Use secure connection via HTTPS

To increase the security of your communication, configure the WebNavigator server so that it
only supports HTTPS connections. You need a digital certificate for your WebNavigator server

Avoiding Cross Site Request Forgery with WebNavigator

Cross Site Request Forgery is very similar to the Cross Site Scripting vulnerability.
It also starts with an authenticated user clicking on a malicious link. However, this vulnerability
also works if the user has disabled scripting in his browser.
Siemens recommends:
• Do not interact with other Internet related services while being logged in.
• Log out when WebNavigator is not needed any more.

1.5 Installation
1.5.1 Installation of the Update
Exit all applications (for example WinCC-RT, MS-Word, etc.) before you start the setup.
Update using download file
If the update is available as a self-extracting download file, then unpack this update only to a PC
on which WinCC V7.3 SE incl. Update 1 is installed. If you need this update on a PC without
a WinCC installation, copy the unpacked update to this PC.
Unpack the EXE file to your hard disk and double-click the [Link] file.
Disabling WinCC Autostart
If being used, you must disable the "WinCC Autostart" function before the software update.
• Client:
"Start > SIMATIC > WinCC > Autostart"
• Server:
"Start > SIMATIC > WinCC > Autostart" or
"Start > SIMATIC > SIMATIC Net > Set PC station > Applications > Autostart"
After disabling WinCC Autostart, restart the PC.
Performing the installation
The Setup program guides you through the entire installation.
A restart may be necessary following the installation depending on the system configuration.
You can cancel the setup if the "Next" button is not activated during setup and after you have
accepted the licensing conditions. In this case the Update has already been installed on the PC;
it is not necessary to update the installed components.
Update installation in a distributed system
Install the update on all PCs in your plant.
If different update versions are installed on the clients or servers, no configuration changes are
possible in the WinCC project.
Re-installation
You will have to install the Update once again if you have done a re-installation from the
supplied DVD.

Installation of the Update for WinCC/WebNavigator
In order to make the updated version of the plug-ins available to the WebNavigator Client, start
the WinCC Web Configurator on the WebNavigator Server after the Update installation.
Update of the Web Client V6.x via download
If you use the download from the web server for the update installation to a Web Client V6.x,
you must first remove the existing Web Client. If you have not removed the Web Client,
the setup program will display a corresponding message.

3.2 Notes on Update 2 to Update 18
Skip the following instructions if you have already installed one of the previous Updates and
executed the action required for it.
If you have not yet executed the described actions, check to see if you need them for your project.
If so, follow the instructions.

3.2.1 ODK: Libraries and Header (Update 3)

You can find the current libraries and headers for the compilation of your own applications
in the WinCC update path under "..\InstData\WinCCODK".

3.2.2 WinCC Channel "Mitsubishi Ethernet": Install Update 7 or higher (Update 7)

If you are using the Mitsubishi Ethernet channel, please note the following
To avoid possible connection interruptions, we urgently recommend
the installation of Update 7 or higher for WinCC V7.3.

3.2.3 Format adaption of process tags: STEP 7 V5.5 SP4 Update 9 or higher required (Update 8)

3.2.5 Graphic Object Update Wizard: Block names end on "-" (Update 18)
When exporting picture objects, the option "Split the tag names" exports the levels of the
technical hierarchy into separate columns.
If you are using block names that consist only of the hyphen "-" or end with the hyphen,
proceed as follows:
Procedure
1. Open the OS Project Editor in the WinCC Project.
2. Activate the option "Update Graphics Object Update Wizard configuration"
on the "Basic Data" tab.
3. To run the OS Project Editor, click "OK".
4. In the folder "<Project directory>\WScripts", open the configuration file in a text editor,
such as Notepad.
The Graphic Object Update Wizard uses the "[Link]" file by default.
5. In the [General] section, activate the hyphen setting in the block name:
- ConsiderHyphenForBlockName = 1
If the entry has not yet been created, add the line in the section [General].
6. Save the file.
7. Open the process pictures in the Graphics Designer and execute the export.
Result
During import, the tag names with hyphens as last character are also correctly reassembled
from the block columns.
