Verkniipfng ist gegeben durch die Vorstellungen, Bege-
benheiten, welche zu der Conception jeder Strophe die
nregung boten. Das eben ist das Wesen einer Erzi
Inug in Ténen, und deshalb will sie nicht nur in Ei
zelheiten nachempfunden, sondern als Ganzes nachge-
dlichtet sein. Mit hoher poetischer Kraft ist der Mir~
chenton getroffen in der gesangvollen Strophe A. Dieses

item sanft wogenden Nachspiel D bilden die Hauptmo.
mente, auf welche die Phantasic des Autors immer wie-
der zurtckgreift. Dazwischen tauchen theils walzerartige
Motive, theils glinzende Passagen auf, unstaet in der Be-
wegung, bald dberstirat in schwumgvoller Steigerung,
hald im smorzando verléschend. Den Schluss hildet eine
breit ausgefihrie Strophe I von dimonischer Leiden-
schaft und frei recitirendem Ausdruck.
