Hi, I’m dblsaiko! Recreational programmer, Linux sys-admin, OpenStreetMap contributor, obscure/legacy tech enthusiast, linguistics enjoyer, hobbyist urban explorer, tech industry hater, cursed transfem.
Recent articles I wrote:
Some of the software I wrote is linked on the Software page along with a list of all my public repositories. Currently, I’m working mostly on Nucom – rewriting a huge part of it, the IDL compiler, in Swift, along with occasionally contributing to the Meson build system.
I run a bunch of services on currently three VPSes and one box running at home, mostly communication related (E-Mail, Matrix, Mumble VoIP, XMPP), but also Nextcloud for file sharing, a Git server, and of course this web page. All of it is currently set up with NixOS and I have the configuration public here.
I also have some public Nix modules and packages in a separate repository which might be useful for others, which you can find here.
Give contributing to OpenStreetMap a try! It’s fun to edit the map, useful, and a great outside activity. Look here for information on getting started.
I’m always telling everyone to play my favorite indie video games, the ENIGMA Trilogy and INFRA, so I’ll just link them here too. Give them a shot if you like psychological horror or atmospheric exploration/puzzle games.
