About Us

Steve Hughes

I have been working with technology for over 30 years. Throughout my career, I have created business intelligence solutions, helped customers implement leading BI and cloud solutions, and led multiple consulting organizations on their journey to Azure and Fabric. I am passionate about using data effectively and helping customers understand that data is valuable and profitable.

I have been diagnosed with ALS and use what I have learned to support individuals and make software more accessible using various techniques and solutions. After stepping away from full time employment, I created the Data on Wheels ~ ALS website where I consolidate ALS resources and creates content to support others who have ALS and their caregivers.

I have received Consultant of the Year honors at Magenic, the Engineering Excellence Award at XATA, President’s Award at Pragmatic Works, and Spirit of 3Cloud Award. I have delivered multiple presentations on data architecture, business intelligence, and cloud solutions over the years. I received my Microsoft Data Platform MVP for my work with Microsoft Fabric.

I have been married to my beautiful wife Sheila since 1993.  We are the parents of four awesome adult children who are awesome!

Kristyna Ferris

I am a Solution Architect at P3 Adaptive and a Microsoft Data Platform MVP. I work with customers to review their existing analytic offerings and advise on future implementations that would provide valuable insights into their business. Feel free to reach out if you’re looking for assistance in building or reinventing your analytical offering! I have created and maintained security, on-premises & VNET gateways, design strategies, CI/CD implementations, best practice training, and a large variety of reports.

I am passionate about using quantitative data to answer qualitative questions. Working side-by-side with key stakeholders to both ask the right questions and arrive at data-driven solutions, I believe that data is only as useful as the questions it is trying to answer and as powerful as the tools employed.

I recently got married and am the first of those awesome adult children mentioned above. Recently, I have gotten into wood carving little bears and wood burning D&D dice boxes and puzzles for friends.
