Dark Horse Comics
In chronological order:
The Golden Age of the Sith by Kevin J Anderson
The Fall of the Sith Empire by Kevin J Anderson
Knights of the Old Republic by Tom Veitch
The Freedan Nadd Uprising by Tom Veitch
Dark Lords of the Sith by Tom Veitch & Kevin J Anderson
The Sith War by Kevin J Anderson
Redemption by Kevin J Anderson
I do not know if any of these comics can found anymore, outside of collectors.
The writers of Knights of the Old Republic and KOTOR II: The Sith lords, owe a great debt to these old comics which had inspired both games. I don't want them forgotten, especially with the considerable dislike of KJA in today's Star Wars fandom and the relentless retcon that is changing everything, such as what the ancient Sith were really like. The only real respect paid to the ancient Sith Empire was by Kreia when you visit Korriban in KOTOR II.
My KOTOR fics are based on these comics, as well as the games.
