Technology is terrain. Biology is leverage. Networks carry power.
This is where systems are examined to understand how control is built, maintained, and resisted. Not to admire them, but to learn how they can be altered, rerouted, or abandoned.
Between freedom and capture, new forms take root. Thinkers, builders, and breakers operating without permission.
This is not a conference. This is a gathering rooted in autonomy.

THE OLD WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT IN BUBENEČ
After twelve years and the successful zero edition of DARK PRAGUE, we are moving the conference to a new venue.
The Old Plant in Bubeneč is the last fully preserved first-generation wastewater treatment facility in the world. Thanks to its exceptional preservation, it became a cornerstone of Czech industrial heritage and was placed on the UNESCO Tentative List.
Built in 1906, the site is a rare testament to early wastewater engineering, steam technology, and Art Nouveau industrial architecture. The complex offers extraordinary underground spaces with original machinery still in place.
As part of the conference, we will be able to explore the historic facilities, from treatment processes and sludge systems to the boiler house that powered the machinery, including the original, now non-functional sewer tunnel.
