15th Annual NJQRP Skeeter Hunt to Take Place This Weekend

The 15th annual NJQRP Skeeter Hunt will take place this Sunday on August 16th. The objective of the event is to encourage QRP hams to get out of the shack and operate outdoors. Operators may use CW or SSB. There are a number of rules and bonus points which are explained here.

HamSCI to Host Meteor Scatter QSO Party

HamSCI will host a Meteor Scatter QSO Party August 12-14. Hams are invited to participate on 6 and 10 meters using the MSK144 digital mode. HamSCI has a how to guide for hams new to working meteor scatter.

Listen, make QSOs, collect and then upload WAV files of your decodes, contribute to meteor science as we strive to uncover the secrets of meteor scatter (MS) propagation.
