This journal contains everything of that and more: my entries for LJ Idol which are public, a bit of whining about the various physical and mental afflictions I carry around with me, pictures of myself, landscapes, my garden and my cat (in every possible position and expression), musings about nature, rants about politics (warning: I am very outspoken against anything right-wing, racist, homophobic, conspiracy BS and warmongering), my job in a vaccine clinic (no whatsoever patience/tolerance for novaxxers/COVID deniers and their ilk) and for various clients doing mainly marketing and graphics work, and squeeing/lamentations about the performance of my soccer team(s). And tons of other things, obviously, quite a few of them (work and those who involve other peoples right to privacy) friends filtered.
About myself.. born in Germany, and returned there in 2009 with my husband and our two cats, after living in Italy for 26 years.
I spend my time between working, volunteering for refugees, walking and gardening, writing, reading, and trying to advance towards a minimum of awareness. When I am not too sick for it, which happens from time to time.
I love languages, speak a few of them quite well, others passably and am always thinking about studying a new one..
I have the utmost respect for anybody who has made different life choices from mine, and expect the same in return, but I cannot abide aggressive and hateful behaviour and propaganda for dictators and general violations of human rights.
