DabneyCollins is named for Dabney Peeples and Kenny Collins, two founding individuals who represent the essential design-build nature of our work.

J. Dabney Peeples first came to the Upstate in 1986, when he established a design firm in his name. Over the intervening decades, Dabney has cultivated a reputation for timeless gardens rooted in European and Southern historical traditions.

In 2000, Kenny Collins founded The Collins Group, a landscape construction company committed to excellent workmanship and care for people.

The partnership between Dabney Peeples and The Collins Group evolved in 2005 after it became clear that a seamless transition between the design and construction phases serves clients in a uniquely responsible way. In 2021, the two officially combined to become DabneyCollins. We are now one vibrant team full of people with unique specialties.
