Howdy Stranger!

I am scientist passionate about using computer science to build scientific tools to solve problems in geoscience, astronomy, atmospheric and oceanic science. I currently work as a Scientific Python Developer on the GeoCAT team at NSF National Center for Atmospheric Research.

I am excited about learning and teaching science history and I am the researcher, writer, and artist for the STEM and science history blog History Survival Guide, where each page explores a different engineering or scientific concept. My goal is to break down complex concepts in a fun and engaging way that my readers can apply in their everyday life.
