The Black Queens were a gang operating in Night City.
Overview[]
The Black Queens were a rather small-time harmless gang of street hoodlums when compared to the rest of Night City gangers. They were based in the Hole, a small area in the City Center where they hanged out, chowing down and surreptitiously dealing drugs to executives who went down there on their lunch hour. Members wore black clothing, dyed their hair to match, and if they had any makeup it was also of the same color. Their symbol was a spray paint-black crown with a capital "B" superimposed over it.
The Queens were deep in the Sacred Blades territory, though the later didn't consider them a threat, and usually bought drugs from them. The Queens very rarely (if ever) involved themselves in any turf war, as such they had no regular enemies. The worst they ever did was having a female member play con artist tricks as a joygirl or sell cheap drugs to local businesspeople. Since none of the drugs they sold had ever gone bad, the NCPD left them alone.
Scattered throughout City Center, the Black Queens were very often a good source of information about what was happening in the area, and both the NCPD and local corps had taken advantage of this in the past. As long as anyone paid for their work, the Queens were happy to provide.
Low-ranking members only carried switchblades if any weapons at all, while firearms were reserved for the leaders. Anyone was free to join, but in general the Queens shied away from violent, highly combative people.[1]
