It is useful to remember that last Monday’s showing of Gettysburg was not the first time The History Channel was associated with an effort to portray Gettysburg.  Inspired by the vivid imagination of Matt Gallman, I’ve decided to bring to you the Gettysburg mission from Civil War: A Divided Nation, a video game endorsed by THC.

You just can’t get any more realistic than this.

… and you have two hours of air time (well, more like 105 minutes).  How do you tell the story of Gettysburg?  What do you use?

Remember, you’re preparing a film for a broad audience.  What would you want that audience to take away?  How would you deliver your message?
