Hey, i tried the voicemeter version, it's working on OBS recording but i have horrible glitched noises on low buffer size and high buffer size still doesn't fix it. Even when i have OBS turned off. Any way to fix it? Using a focusrite 2i2 3rd gen

Unfortunately might be out of action for a little bit, had a health scare for a week and went to the ER last night (thankfully, it's nothing tooooo serious). Currently getting that settled. Hopefully my health gets better by next week because I am excited to participate again.

Missing bass (cool song with great vibe) Guitar scores

I don't remember what the bass chart looks like for this song because it's been a while since I played it. But it's good that this is no longer a bonus song on all paths. Rhythm is actually a good bonus because it is quite long and repetitive and the chart is a bit less readable. Yes, if it attracts people, then it's fine. I think most participants prefer to just play what they like, even if it's just a bonus.

Okay @Mikson, I swapped the two intermediate songs for bass path so your song is no longer the bonus since it has a higher difficulty and chance for promotion. How's that sound? Since the rate at which charters drop songs these days is so high and a couple of participants recently have said "I don't like any of the songs so I'm not playing this week", I'd rather keep offering more options so that more people feel motivated to play 😊

In general, back in the old days of the championship, and when I joined a few years ago, there were no bonuses at all (or almost). I don't even know how it was invented, I wouldn't be surprised if I came up with it myself haha 😄 I remember that when I was creating selections, I would sometimes add bonuses if a path didn't fit with the rest (e.g. there were two paths of similar difficulty, or it was a low tuning, boring chart, etc.). But I never added a song as a bonus for all paths; I think @cacahuate51 started doing that 🤔 I'm generally not a fan of adding typical bonus songs unless it's a week with a specific theme and we have more songs that good for the theme. I think @Rodman mentioned this once, but he's calmed down now, and bonuses don't seem to bother him 😉 There are advantages, like a wider selection and a greater chance that a song will attract participants, so if the participants like it, it's fine, but mastering such songs makes less sense if it doesn't affect our statistics/promotions.

So it was probably me that promoted someone cause perhaps they were both high songs. I do try to stick the highest one in main path and lower one as bonus. As far as I'm aware of there isn't a rule.. ? But I do know Mikson has brought up That it doesn't affect the year score. The only person that can confirm this is Rodman since he does that scoring. I think bonuses should count, but I understand it would be more work for Rodman if it isn't being counted atm. In any case, I still add bonuses cause the suggested song list is long and probably just gonna get bigger if it's only 1 per week. Also do it cause hopefully one song resonates with someone more and it keeps them participating /practicing which is the most important thing imo. Would be nice for it to count for year but I think if it encourages someone to participate cause they like the song more that's more important (and it'll give them more practice for next week)

Sorry @Mikson, it was my understanding that it was Option A/Option B not that only one was counted. Also thought that I remembered seeing people promote off of bonus performances. I put a different music genre in each slot in case people had a preference in no particular order. Where is this rule?

@drand Thanks for the week! But please don't use my suggestions only as a bonus on all paths 😕 Bonuses have no impact on the participants promotions and statistics, so it's a bit of wasted potential. Solo here is fast and not that easy, so this is higher rating - 6 maybe 6.5. Ok

May I ask someone to slice Black Sabbat rhythm with some extra part with solo only? While I will try it by myself the week will come to the end. Still too fast...
