Bu calismada, hastane kayitlarindaki veriler, veri madenciligi teknigi ile analiz edilerek basvurulan hastane servisleri arasinda birliktelik kurallarinin olup olmadigi arastirilmaya calisilmistir. Bu amacla 31.552 hastaya ait veriler islenerek, Birliktelik Kurallari Madenciligi yapilmistir. Yapilan calisma sonucunda %75 guven seviyesinin ustunde 58 kural uretilebilmistir. Uretilen bu kurallarin hastane yoneticilerinin kararlarina katki saglayacagi degerlendirilmektedir.

Bu çalışmada, işletmelerin ürün portföylerinin tanımlanması ve oluşturulması aşamasına, veri madenciliği teknikleri kullanılarak, stratejik bir katkı sağlamak istenmiştir. Bir veri madenciliği tekniği olan Birliktelik Kuralları tekniği kullanılarak, fon alışverişi yapan kurumlara ait veriler üzerinde bir uygulama yapılmıştır. Rakip işletmelerin fon alımı yapılırken farklı fon araçları arasında bir birliktelik kuralının olup olmadığı araştırılmaya çalışılmış ve Tertius algoritması ile 52 kuralın varlığı tespit edilmiştir. Ürün portföy planlamalarında, bu kurallardan yararlanabilecekleri, işletmelere bir öneri olarak sunulmuştur.

Bu çalışmada, karar ağaçları yöntemiyle Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi öğrencilerine ait veriler kullanılarak veri madenciliği yapılmıştır. Öğrencilere ait verilerden yararlanarak, hem bu verileri en başarılı sınıflandıran karar ağaçlarına ait algoritma, hem de bu algoritmanın üreteceği sınıflar tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda LADTree algoritmasının öğrenci verilerini sınıflandırmada en başarılı algoritma olduğu ve ondokuz değişik sınıf ürettiği anlaşılmıştır.

In this study, it was aimed to investigate whether an association rule exists between the products sold, using the sales data of a supermarket with the data mining method within the framework of a customer-oriented approach. For this purpose, the Association Rule Mining Method was used, and analyses were carried out on existing data with the Apriori Algorithm that is widely used in this method. Various association rules were determined between the products sold as a result of these analyses. It was assessed that Association Rule Mining is an alternative technique to proactive customer orientation by revealing the latent purchasing behaviour patterns of the customers.

Data mining is a significant method which is utilized in order to reveal the hidden patterns and connections within big data. The method is used at various fields such as financial transactions, banking, education, health sector, logistics and security. Even though analysis towards the consumption habits of the customers is carried out via association rules mining more often, which is one of the basic methods of data mining, the method is also utilized in order to profile patients and students. As well as the customization of a customer is of high significance, so is distinguishing and customizing a student. Within this study, students were tried to be profiled via data mining of the student data of a high school. A set of qualities, that can directly affect the performance of students such as health conditions, financial resources, life standards and education level of the families, were taken into consideration. For that purpose, upon the analysis of data of 443 students in the database, a data warehouse was established. The Apriori algorithm, which is one of the popular algorithms of association rules mining, is utilized for the data analysis. Apriori algorithm was able to produce 72 rules which are accurate above 90%. It is thought that the produced rules can be of help in profiling the students, and they can contribute to work of school management, teachers, parents and students.

Bu calismada, yatirim tesvik verilerinden yararlanilarak veri madenciligi yapilmistir. Bu verilerle yapilan calismada, hem bu verileri en basarili siniflandiran algoritma, hem de bu algoritmanin urettigi siniflar belirlenmeye calisilmistir. Calismanin sonucunda BFTree algoritmasinin yatirim tesviki verilerini siniflandirmada en basarili algoritma oldugu belirlenmistir. Ayrica ayni algoriymayla elde edilen sonuclara gore indirimlerin tesviklerden yararlanmada daha belirleyici oldugu ortaya konmustur.

Bu calismada, veri madenciligi yontemiyle Cumhuriyet Universitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitusu ogrencilerine ait veriler kullanilarak bir uygulama yapilmistir. Lisansustu ogrencilerine ait verilerden yararlanarak, hem bu verileri en basarili siniflandiran algoritma, hem de ogrencilerin programi, cinsiyeti, Sivas ilinden ya da baska bir ilden olmasi, kadrosunun arastirma gorevlisi olup olmamasi ve ders doneminin farkli olmasinin notlarini etkileyip etkilemedigi tespit edilmeye calisilmistir. Calismanin sonucunda SimpleCART algoritmasinin siniflandirma orani en yuksek algoritma oldugu, doktora programina kayitli ogrencilerin yuksek lisans programina kayitli ogrencilere gore daha yuksek basari notlarina sahip olduklari ancak cinsiyetin, kadronun, ilin ve ders doneminin basariyi etkilemedigi ortaya cikmistir

Bu calismada, hastane veri tabanindaki veriler kullanilarak, veri madenciligi yontemi ile hasta profili cikarilmaya calisilmistir. Bu amacla 28.738 yatan hastaya ait veriler kullanilarak Birliktelik Kurallari Madenciligi yapilmistir. Yapilan calisma sonucunda %60 ve uzeri guven seviyesinde 64 kural uretilebilmistir. Uretilen bu kurallarin hem doktorlara, hem de hastane yoneticilerine karar destegi saglayacagi dusunulmektedir.

In this study, it was intended to provide a strategic contribution to the process of the identification and formation of businesses’ product portfolio by using data mining techniques. An application was made on the data of institutions which exchange funds, using Association Rules, as a data mining technique. It was aimed to investigate whether there is an association rules between different funding instruments while competing firms exchange funds and determined the presence of 52 rules with Tertius algorithm. Benefits of using these rules were presented as a proposal to firms in their products portfolio planning

It is not always possible to solve a large size of data via traditional statistical techniques. In order to solve these kinds of data special tactics like data mining are needed. Data mining may meet these kinds of needs with both categorizing and piling tactic. In this study, we have used data mining by using Rural Development Investment Support Program (RDISP) data with various categorizing algorithms. The most prospering categorizing algorithm was tried to determine by using present data. At the end of analysis, it has been understood that MLP (multilayer perceptron), a nerve net model, is the best algorithm that makes the best categorizing.

Bu calismada, siniflandirma ve kumeleme yontemiyle Sivas Erzincan Kalkinma Projesine (SEKP) ait veriler kullanilarak veri madenciligi yapilmistir. SEKP verileri ile hem bu verileri en basarili siniflandiran algoritma, hem de bu algoritmasinin urettigi siniflar tespit edilmistir. Ayrica bu veriler ile EM algoritmasiyla kumeleme analizi yapilmistir. Calismanin sonucunda BayesNet algoritmasinin siniflandirma orani en yuksek algoritma oldugu, yedi sinif urettigi ortaya cikmistir. EM Algoritmasiyla yapilan analizde de verilerin uc ayri kumede kumelendigi saptanmistir
