We collaborate with Duke faculty and leadership to advance a culture in which excellence in teaching and mentoring is recognized, supported, and continually strengthened, in which instructors share a clear understanding of what effective teaching and mentoring mean in their context, and educators are connected across schools, disciplines, and career stages to learn from one another, develop new approaches, and respond resiliently to challenges.

We work with Duke schools and faculty to develop education strategies that engage learners across the arc of learning on campus and beyond. Guided by academic priorities and evidence-based practices, we help faculty design transformative learning experiences that meet learners across contexts and throughout their educational journeys.
OLLI at Duke
The Duke Center for Teaching and Learning is also the home of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Duke, which fosters a dynamic community of lifelong learners through educational programs, social engagement, and volunteer opportunities that inspire curiosity, connection, and growth.
