Dizziness after bone marrow transplant multiple myeloma
I had my bone marrow transplant 2 weeks ago and am home starting the long recovery now. My blood numbers are slowly going up which is great but the biggest issue now aside from the fatigue and the terrible metallic sour taste in my mouth due to the intense chemo is dizziness. Sometimes it is just background and other times intense vertigo. I know this is common but wonder about other's experience with this and any advice to get through it? Thank you,❓️ 😥 💜 ⁉️

Hi Russell,
I'm about 60 days out from my transplant and also experienced fatigue afterwards. No dizziness or metallic taste, just some neuropathy in my feet. I did not experienced any vertigo but used to have it years ago so I can't help you there.
Outside of taking with you specialist or oncologist, I would suggest trying the smartpatients.com forum and ask your questions there. There are so many MM patients that offer their experiences.
Hope your side effects subside and wish you all the best!
David
