I propose the idea of &#8220;aesthetic intelligence&#8221;\u2014the ability to disrupt existing social structures, unspoken conventions, and modes of consciousness.<\/p>\n<p>Takashi Ishida<\/p>\n<p style=\"\">Research Scientist, Lecturer at RIKEN AIP &amp; University of Tokyo<\/p>\n<p style=\"\">In this talk, Takashi Ishida asks: Is the Performance of My Deep Network Too Good to Be True?&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"\">A Direct Approach to Estimating the Bayes Error in Binary Classification.<\/p>\n<p>Chi-Lan Yang<\/p>\n<p>Assistant Professor, Graduate School Of Interdisciplinary Information Studies, The University Of Tokyo<\/p>\n<p>In this talk, Chi-Lan Yang will share her recent work on how to leverage intelligent technology to support remote communication and discuss some challenges and research opportunities in AI-mediated communication.<\/p>\n<p>Lik Hang Lee<\/p>\n<p style=\"\">Assistant Professor, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University<\/p>\n<p style=\"\">In this talk, Lik Hang Lee explores the future of humans, AI and the metaverse.<\/p>\n<p>Sylvain Malacria<\/p>\n<p>Research Scientist, Inria, JSPS International Fellow at the University of Tokyo<\/p>\n<p style=\"\">Scientific results are still primarily conveyed via PDF documents, inherited from physical papers and static by nature. Surprisingly, these documents do not leverage the rich interactive capabilities of computing systems. In this talk, Sylvain will present interactive systems that transform the scientific reading experience by providing more interactivity through materials that can be produced by both authors and readers.<\/p>\n<p>Shixian Geng<\/p>\n<p style=\"\">Doctoral researcher, IIS Lab, the University of Tokyo<\/p>\n<p style=\"\">In this talk, Shixian talks about her recent work on utilizing multiple chatbots to simulate a group therapy environment for supporting women with Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS). The talk also explores research opportunities in multi-agent interaction.<\/p>\n<p>Li Junhao<\/p>\n<p style=\"\">Doctoral Reseacher, Center For Ubiquitous Computing, University Of Oulu<\/p>\n<p>In this talk, Junhao talks about the credibility issues of social media and discusses the potential of LLMs to improve individuals&#8217; medical literacy.
