Minimoki is a premium toy distributor that brings beloved French children’s brands to Southeast Asia — a region where design, education, and safety converge in the world of play. Known for toys that inspire creativity through European craftsmanship, Minimoki serves discerning parents who see playtime as both joy and learning. Yet, while the products themselves reflected exceptional quality, the brand identity didn’t fully express that sophistication. Minimoki approached Creative For More to reimagine its visual identity — one that could capture the brand’s refined essence while keeping its iconic squirrel at heart.

OUR OBJECTIVE

Our goal was to elevate Minimoki’s brand presence to mirror the premium nature of its portfolio. We set out to create a cohesive visual language that balanced trust, quality, and playfulness — appealing to both parents and children alike. The refresh had to retain familiarity while signalling growth, making the brand instantly recognisable across packaging, web, and retail touchpoints.

OUR APPROACH

The brand transformation began with a complete identity refresh anchored in refinement and warmth.

  • Logo Evolution
    We modernised the signature squirrel mark — a long-time emblem of Minimoki’s curiosity and care — giving it a clean, balanced form that communicated reliability and charm without losing its friendly appeal.
  • Typography System
    The new type selection brought together clarity and softness. It was crafted to speak to both parents’ desire for assurance and children’s sense of wonder — legible yet full of life.
  • Colour Palette
    We introduced a palette of soft, timeless hues — gentle beiges, warm neutrals, and muted pastels — designed to evoke safety, calm, and quality while maintaining a distinctly European aesthetic.
  • Visual Framework
    A modular design system unified all brand expressions — from web layouts to print materials and social media templates. This system ensured visual consistency across every touchpoint while allowing for flexibility and personality in execution.
  • Comprehensive Brand Guidelines
    To future-proof the identity, we developed detailed brand guidelines outlining logo applications, typography hierarchies, colour usage, iconography, and digital adaptations — equipping the Minimoki team with the tools to grow confidently.
RESULTS

The refreshed identity elevated Minimoki from a boutique distributor to a brand that stands for purposeful play. The modernised squirrel became an emblem of trust for parents and delight for children, while the new visual system conveyed sophistication and approachability in equal measure.
