Hi, I am married with 7 children and 22 grandchildren. I live in a rural area and have joined online groups of like minded needleworkers, at my DDs urging. I have enjoyed learning goldwork, stumpwork, silk ribbon embellishments and various other crafts. I do not claim to be an expert in any of these, I just like to try them out. I guess you could call me a born fiddler.
I am always eager to see how other women create. I know there is a wealth of inspiration out there and hope to find more.

Thank you for your pictures that demonstrate uses of the Cretan stitch. I am so happy that someone on my yahoo list for Outline Stitch embroidery pointed the group in your direction.
Keep up the great work!

I am trying to picture where the photo is taken.
Am thinking back around all my travels in your area but cannot pick it.
Now that I am actually sewing a CQ Christmas Stocking in the RR, it is so lovely, as Bernadette said, to catch up with you all.
If you cannot puzzle through the nickname, think friend of the above lady….might help….vbg.
