NCWIT
- The NCWIT Scorecard is a resource where you can find data on trends in computing participation in the U.S. over time. NCWIT supplies these data visualizations for the computing community free of charge. Feel free to use these data in reports, presentations, proposals, and other research with the appropriate citation.
- NCWIT’s Toolkit offers strategic approaches and practices to help departments examine recruitment and retention trends to identify problem areas and measure progress.
- NCWIT’s Evaluation Tools offers resources for conducting evaluations. Along with survey questions, there are interview and observation protocols.
Longitudinal Degree Completion Data
- This webapp from the Alliance for Interdisciplinary Innovation in Computing Education (AiiCE) provides accurate, long-term data on computing degrees earned by a specific population.
National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) Resources
- Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS): A comprehensive system of surveys managed by the NCES that collects institution-level data from all U.S. postsecondary institutions participating in federal student aid programs.
- Common Core of Data (CCD): The Department of Education’s primary database on public elementary and secondary education in the United States. CCD is a comprehensive, annual, national database of all public elementary and secondary schools and school districts.
