C++ is ubiquitous in audio. From music players to music production software to virtual instruments running on embedded platforms.
But getting started with C++ & audio is not easy, even for experienced C++ developers. There are many basics and pitfalls that are unknown unknowns: you don’t know they exist until you start investigating why your audio software glitches.
The JUCE C++ framework handles most of the programming burden, but it still requires a solid grasp of audio programming concepts.
This workshop will teach you the basics of audio processing in theory and practice, and will allow you to create your first audio plugin: a flanger. We will go through the basics of digital audio signal processing, how audio processing is performed on modern computers, and how you can create your own audio software, be it plugins or apps. There will be plenty of time for Q&A and individual help.

Cancellation Policy
Purchased tickets may be cancelled for a full refund, less a 5% processing fee, up to four weeks before the event.
From four weeks to five days before the event the cancellation fee is 40%.
During the last five days before the event the cancellation fee is 80%.
