The Most Amount Of Content Ever For A C++Online Conference!
Get ready for an action-packed conference because we are pleased to announce our initial schedule for the C++Online conference which is running on three tracks over three days from Wednesday 11th - Friday 13th March!
And this year, most attendees will be able to attend for just £50 — a 50% discount compared to last year’s C++Online price.
What Has Been Confirmed?
Content in the schedule includes:
- 22 Breakout Sessions - We will have 22 breakout sessions from experienced C++ speakers including Kevlin Henney, Dave Rowland, Roi Barkan, Amir Kirsh and more! From coroutines, software design, safety and algorithms, there is something for everyone and these sessions also cater to different levels of C++ experience from someone who is just starting out to a veteran in the software development industry.
- Lightning Talks - Don't miss out on our evening of lightning talks on Thursday! Whether you're a seasoned pro or a first-time speaker, submit your 5-minute talk on any subject (including C++). Applications will open soon for attendees!
- Open Content Sessions - These are talks and/or social events ran by C++Online attendees and that are on broader subjects. Some of these are from speakers who we couldn't accept into the main program.
- Types of content include:
- Presentations/Demos - Some attendees will be sharing their expertise or demoing their latest project in Zoom Webinar.
- Community Driven Meetup & Social Events - Other attendees will be bringing people together through meetups & social events. Past examples have included
- Core C++ Meetup: Core C++ arranged one of their meetups to take place at C++Online. If you would like to try this out for your meetup, then we would be happy to have you!
- Online Tetris Tournament: Dutch C++ ran a competitive and fun tetris tournament to unwind after the first day of the conference.
- C++ Pub Quiz: CppIndia ran a lively and interactive pub quiz to start the final day of the event.
- If you would be interested in giving an open content session, please fill out our application form which can be found on our Open Content page
- Types of content include:
- Poster Sessions - Here our poster presenters will be presenting their latest research or C++ projects in our online virtual poster room.
Finally we are also pleased to announce a new third track which will be used to run additional open content sessions and also workshop taster sessions (more on this later). This means that you can expect the most content ever at a C++Online event!
There is also currently an open call for both posters and open content and because of the third track, we will have additional open content slots available this year.
All registrations include on-demand access to ALL main conference sessions as well as any open content recorded in Zoom both during and after the conference has finished.
What Is Still To Be Confirmed?
The following will be added to the schedule over the next couple of weeks:
- 3 Keynote & 3 Breakout Sessions - From world class C++ speakers
- Post Conference Workshops - We will also be confirming our post conference workshops which are led by world class C++ instructors. These workshops require separate registration and tickets will be available soon!
- Workshop Tasters Sessions - Our new third track will run workshop taster sessions which will provide attendees with a preview of the post conference workshops and training sessions mentioned above. Tasters WILL be included in main conference registrations, whereas as the full post conference workshops will require separate registrations (but your conference registration will be discounted from your booking price for the first workshop you purchase)
Finally the open content slots will be filled as sessions are confirmed and added to the schedule. If you would be interested in submitting a talk, a demo or would like to run a social event or meetup, then please press the button below to find out more about open content including how to make an application.
