Special Storytime with Local Author Gil Newton at Ropes Beach In-Person
Come meet Miss Julie at Ropes Beach for a special Storytime with local author and speaker Gil Newton.
Mr. Newton will read his nonfiction book "A Young Person's Guide to the Beach" that has so many interesting facts about seaweed, horseshoe crabs, shells, and seagulls, to keep kids engaged.
After a quick Q&A, families will have fun combing the beach for treasures and items mentioned in the book.
Ropes Beach is located at 85 Old Shore Road in Cotuit. Parking is limited to those who have beach stickers. Parking is also available across from Rope's Field, on the gravel area before you head down to Ropes Beach. There is also the option of parking at the library, and walking down.
