First battle!
Fall Gelb
The second battle in the club, but the first chronologically.
Implementing the assumptions of the Yellow Plan, Luftwaffe fighters carried out a sweep over France, preparing the sky for a future military operation.
However, the Bf109Es encountered French D.520s led by our local ace Marcin ;)
Taking advantage of their great diving skills, most of the German pilots moved to take a better position to attack.
Unfortunately, the newly assigned rookie couldn't cope in the French sky and was shot down.
Despite many shots from Messerschmitts, the French pilots managed to avoid being shot down and eventually forced the Germans to withdraw.
The plan to gain air superiority failed.
Second battle!
Banzai!!
The battle I fought first, but historically the second ;)
From France we move to the hot islands of the Pacific.
Over one of these densely jungled islands, a dogfight took place between the American F4F-4 Wildcat piloted by Łukasz and my Zeros (they need to improve after losing the tournament).
The game started slowly by approaching the enemy from two directions. The brave veteran jumped forward after his ace and landed on Wildcat's back, but the shot was a miss.
Fortunately, a regular Japanese pilot jumped out of the cloud onto the back of another American fighter who had already won the title of ace. Bravely attacking the Wildcat, he shot it down.
Meanwhile, at the other end of the jungle, the American veteran hid in a cloud, leaving his friend at the mercy of two Japanese pilots who did not waste the opportunity and knocked him out of the sky.
After losing two planes, the Americans fled the battlefield.
After the battle, I decide that Great Climb is more useful to me than Deep Pockets and this will probably be my strategy for these planes.
Pierwsza bitwa!

Druga bitwa w klubie, ale pierwsza chronologicznie.
Realizując założenia planu Fall Gelb, myśliwce Luftwaffe rzeprowadzily wymiatanie nad terenem Francji, przygotowując niebo pod przyszłą operacje wojskową.
Bf109E napotkały jednak na swojej drodze francuskie D.520 prowadzone przez asa Marcina ;)
Korzystając z dużych zdolności nurkowania większość niemieckich pilotów ruszyła by zająć lepsze miejsce do ataku.
Niestety nowo przydzielony żółtodziób nie poradził sobie na francuskim niebie i został zestrzelony.
pomimo wielu strzałów ze strony Messeschmittów francuskim pilotom udało sie uniknąć zestrzelenia i w ostateczności zmusili Niemców do wycofania.
Plan uzyskania przewagi w powietrzu się nie powiódł.

Bitwa rozegrana przeze mnie jako pierwsza, ale historycznie druga ;)
Znad Francji przenosimy się na gorące wyspy Pacyfiku.
Nad jedną z takich, pokrytych gęsta dżungla, wysp rozegrała się potyczką pomiędzy amerykańskim F4F-4 Wildcat pilotowanymi przez Łukasza z moimi Zerami (muszą się poprawić po przegranej w turnieju).
Gra rozpoczęła się powoli od podchodzenia do wroga z dwóch kierunków. Dzielny weteran wyskakując do przodu za swoim asem wylądował na plecach Wildcata, ale strzał okazał się spudłowany.
Na szczęście na plecy innego amerykańskiego myśliwca, który zdobył już tytuł asa, wyskoczył z chmury regularny pilot japoński. Dzielnie atakując Wildcata doprowadził do jego zestrzelenia.
W międzyczasie na drugim końcu dżungli amerykański weteran schował się w chmurę zostawiając kolegę na pastwę dwóch japońskich pilotów, którzy nie zmarnowali okazji i strącili go z nieba.
Po dwóch stratach amerykanie uciekli z pola walki.
Po bitwie stwierdzam, że Great Climb bardziej mi się przydaje niż Deep Pockets i chyba to będzie moją strategią na te samoloty.
