And we're back, baby!
I did miss those boys. And I love Dean with kids, and that girl was fantastic.
After eigthy or so seasons of having their lives be shit, it's good that several somebodies actually kind of slap Dean upside the head and go, "well, we're hunters. Our lives are always shit, there's a reason we became these people. Loss, though always personal and crushing, is a thing that does not make you special."
Of course, the second part of that lesson for Dean was that he should be the prettiest, sad-eyed, smiling zombie that's going to implode and take half the continent with him eventually. *pets his pretty, pretty face*
For now, we're good. Ish.
