
Matilde Massó
Matilde Massó is Associate Professor of Sociology at the Department of Sociology and Communication Sciences at the A Coruña University (UDC). Her principal research interests lie in the transformations of money and how financial innovation is shaping a new conception of the economy and its relationship with the theories of justice. She has extensive experience in leading research projects on economic sociology, specifically in financialization studies and the sociology of money and financial innovation. Her recent publications are Contested Money (Routledge, 2023) and Why money matters? (Journal of Economic Issues, 2023)
