thanks for those links. Ive shared them with my red pill fence sitting friends, including a lecture about avoiding denial, and chucked it in the who sculpted the Easter island heads file. We certainly get our share of mystery in this life.
I’d like to nominate the BBC, in the UK, for it’s “unbiased” news reporting. This institution is supposed to follow a Royal Charter to ensure its neutrality, when reporting news.
It was bad enough when the BBC lies were spewing out of Syria, several years ago, but how they thought that they could get away with this one really does beggar belief.
This institution has been idealogically captured for the 40 years, at least, when I have given it any heed.
It tried to scare everyone into taking covid treatments and under-reported all the injuries and negative stories surrounding these interventions. It held nobody to account and has always soft balled the questions to our politicians.
However, the icing on the cake to which I previously hinted, is the heavily edited Trump speech; which happened shortly before the rioting at the Capitol building.

My vote for Fake news of 2025 ? Maryland Man, Charlie Kirk was shot with a 30.06 probably takes the cake but I am not sure if it qualifies as fake news. Global warming is probably my favorite bit of BS but that has been going on for along time.

I’m not sure how to word this, but it seems that the way ‘they’ (meaning all propaganda pushers and mainstream narratives in millions of different ways) frame Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel as the GOOD and SACRED heroes of the world story (saving world democracy!), while the rest of the world sees this as utterly FAKE. Benjamin Netanyahu is demonic, clearly.
Other ideas:
1. Charlie Kirk ‘assassination’: Charlie Kirk is probably on an island somewhere sipping martinis with Epstein. That whole immediately-covered-up scene seemed entirely fake, but I don’t know how to prove given all the mis & dis dialog.
2. Bombing Venezuelan ‘drug’ boats to protect American freedom.

I really enjoyed the release of the Epstein files as one of the best fake news stories of the year. Top notch fakery.
Other best fake news stories that come to mind are the two measles deaths, which actually were deaths due to hospital mistakes. Or Charlie Kirks murder, which was clearly not from a lone gunman who used a magic bullet and who changed clothes and disassembled a gun and reassembled a gun a few times and also made a very strange confession that sounded really fake. The US bombings on Iran, and all the stories about fighting the war against narcoterrorism and the kidnapping a foreign leader because “drugs”. All great fake news.
Oh, actually, my favorite had to be DOGE and the breakup between Trump and Elon. That was the best. Really drama filled for maximum entertainment.

2. “Benjamin Life” of the “omniharmonic” Substack publication.

I recently came his publication that was rapid firing machine gunning articles out about ecology and regenerative living and the articles had that chatbotty vibe to them. Aside from some vague romanticization of past statist regimes, the actual content was filled with many truths, just felt un-human.
So I asked the guy if he uses AI for writing. Unlike most that use the tech and do not tell people upfront on their publication, He was honest and said he does (but explained how he does it so much more responsibly and considerately then other people of course).
So I asked why he does not tell people upfront that the articles are written with generative AI tech. Here is part of his response (I can link the comment, or screenshot if he deletes it for context if anyone is interested):
โI tried that initially but it felt like it devalued the work which I stand behind entirely.. ..Personally, I’ve embraced it because it allows for a prolific output that wouldn’t be possible otherwise. Before Al, I could produce one thoroughly researched essay every 1-3 months. Now I’m producing work every week which feels somehow important given how accelerated collapse and rebirth feels.โ
So he doesnโt want to scare people away from becoming a subscriber because they donโt like reading AI generated content, so he doesnโt tell them it is AI generated, but then also says he stands behind the writing entirely?
Hmm something does not quite add up there for me. I shall put that under the umbrella of Fake News!
3. The very popular substack publication titled “Lies are Unbekoming” by the pseudonym screenname “Unbekoming”

– Prioritizes volume over engagement, either with the ideas of the author or the arguments of commenters who have engaged with those ideas.
– Mixes psyops with research indiscriminately, giving equal credibility to any view that differs from the accepted narrative.
– Misspells authorโs name in titles, not reading the AI content that got it right.
– Censors comments challenging the authenticity of opposition speakers, then deletes any evidence of censoring comments.
– Defeats his own purpose of discerning truth from lies by not using his own mind, the only intelligence there is.
Even though itโs self-evident that this level of output isnโt humanly possible, Unbekoming makes no mention of AI. Heโs never responded to Good Citizenโs AI detector showing that his content had a 100% AI probability:
