Conflict: Desert Storm II — Back to Baghdad is a squad-based, third-person tactical shooter developed by Pivotal Games and released in 2003. Set during the 1991 Gulf War, it puts you in command of an elite four-man team from either the U.S. Delta Force or the British SAS. Across a campaign that moves from the desert front lines to the streets of Baghdad, you’ll undertake reconnaissance, sabotage, and rescue missions inspired by real-world operations, balancing stealth with coordinated assaults.

Key features:

  • Four-man squad control: Switch between specialists—team leader, sniper, heavy weapons, and demolitions/medic—and issue orders to coordinate movement and fire.
  • Authentic gear and tactics: Use period-appropriate weapons, explosives, and equipment while navigating hostile terrain and fortified positions.
  • Varied mission design: Fight through open desert, fortified bunkers, and dense urban areas, including night operations and behind-the-lines objectives.
  • Vehicles and environmental challenges: Drive military vehicles in select missions and adapt to changing combat conditions.
  • Single-player and local co-op: Play the full campaign solo or team up in local cooperative mode on supported platforms.

Platforms: PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, and Windows PC.
