RESUMEN Para justificar las " aportaciones del saber religioso a la cultura actual " , el autor p... more RESUMEN Para justificar las " aportaciones del saber religioso a la cultura actual " , el autor parte de la enumeración de las características del marco cultural en el que nos movemos, a caballo entre la modernidad y la postmodernidad. Tras hacer un breve recorrido por las principales problemáticas actuales, presenta cuál es la contribución de dicho saber religioso en la escuela y en la contribución de dicho saber a la mejora de la educación. ABSTRACT The author of this article starts from the enumeration of the elements characterising our cultural framework in order to justify the " contributions of the religion-based knowledge to present day's culture " , since it is on the borderline between modernity and postmodernity. Then he skims most current problems demonstrating the importance of the religious knowledge in the development of schooling and its contribution to the improvement of education.
