Get paid to do research
We pay students ($2000 plus) to do research for a month in the summer. If you are finishing 10th – 12th grade we pair you with a world class researcher in your area of interest who will mentor you in this period.
We hire in Santa Fe (NM), Portland (OR), and Austin (TX), as well as hosting visiting students in those cities.
2026 internship dates: July 6 – July 31.
About the Institute
We are a consortium of researchers, students, and and teachers who develop approaches for youth research in physical science, life science, social science, arts, and humanities. Our goal is to develop the best ways to train young students to do research.
