{"id":276,"date":"2026-02-01T17:59:15","date_gmt":"2026-02-01T17:59:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/componentsforlearning.org\/?post_type=component&#038;p=276"},"modified":"2026-02-01T17:59:15","modified_gmt":"2026-02-01T17:59:15","slug":"concept-review","status":"publish","type":"component","link":"https:\/\/componentsforlearning.org\/components\/concept-review\/","title":{"rendered":"Concept Review"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Retrieves a previously learned concept that may be useful for the learner to better understand a new concept being introduced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It provides a concise and focused reminder of prior knowledge, helping the learner to access it without interrupting the main learning flow or requiring them to revisit earlier materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Concept Review assumes the learner <strong>has already encountered the concept<\/strong> and aims to refresh their understanding of it while <strong>being aware<\/strong> that he already studied it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Use cases<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Similar to the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/componentsforlearning.org\/components\/reminder\/\" data-type=\"component\" data-id=\"48\">Reminder<\/a><\/strong> component, but more focused on a curriculum-aware annotation. This is why a higher voltage source can move charges more effectively through the same component.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Voltage can be understood as the work (energy) transferred per unit of charge.
