Tibor_Fentos
I’m Dr. Tibor Fentős — a vascular surgeon, emergency physician and certified medical coder who has practiced in the German healthcare system (Bavaria) since 2012. My work brings together complex vascular surgery, DRG/CMI optimisation and applied clinical AI (courses from Stanford and Harvard) to build regulation-aware, bedside-focused solutions that improve patient care and departmental performance. Born into agrarian roots in Hungary, I’ve stayed active in sport (football — competitive youth/club levels and two World Medical Championships among physicians), authored around 100 poems, and study stoic wisdom, philosophy and psychology as lenses for resilient clinical leadership. I value clear evidence, human supervision of algorithms, and practical innovation that translates from bedside to research and teaching.
We build GenAI systems to amplify clinician judgment, not replace it. Our approach is simple and non-negotiable: evidence-based models, human-in-the-loop supervision, privacy-preserving engineering, and regulatory awareness (GDPR / CE/MDR mindset). In practice this means clinical pilots with clear metrics, sandboxed experimentation, and iterative validation together with hospital partners and academic WiMi teams.
Core principles:
Human supervision first: models assist clinicians; clinicians validate outputs.
Safety by design: reproducible evaluation, explainability, audit logs and risk mitigation.
Community & partnerships: open collaboration with hospitals, universities, startups and ethicists.
Practical pipelines: federated / privacy-preserving learning options, CE-ready documentation, and deployment strategies that respect clinical workflows and coding.
If you’re a dev, researcher or clinical partner interested in pilot projects, reproducible benchmarks, or building regulated GenAI features that run in parallel with care, let’s connect and design a safe, accountable roadmap together.
