Is there any official word on what the maximum number of images you can send to the Responses or Assistants API is (specifically for gpt-4o with detail-low)? In the past I’ve been able to send up to 250 images to the Assistants API, though as of late it’s been giving me trouble (giving me “Too much context” errors even though it’s only ~40k input tokens).
I’m trying to transition to the Responses API and it seems to have a max ~100 before I start getting errors/failures. Has anybody had luck going higher? I am trying to process long videos and hundreds of photos at a time, so having the limit cut from 250 to 100 is pretty brutal.
