Holiday elves needed :)
I am looking for a Secret Santa for my disabled friend's two children, niece, nephew, and a young family friend. The family has fallen on hard times this year after she lost her husband and became even more sick than she was before. Please let me know if anyone here would be interested in helping, or could direct us towards an organization that could accept late registration and help provide some gifts. I'll provide my friend's address upon request. Thank you very much for your time and attention, here are a few thoughts from my friend about what the children might like: Boy, age 13, friend's son. [Size large men’s shirt, 101/2 – 11 men’s shoe, size 34, 30 men’s pants]. He probably would prefer to get some kind of drawing stuff or some kind of toy for a teenager. He loves Bart Simpson (no beer stuff though). He also likes to light candles in my Mom’s room for her. He might enjoy a few white or turquoise neat candles. He loves to draw, he loves the computer. He’d like learning or education computer software or something. He has a great sense of humor and loves to laugh and make people laugh too. Both my son and daughter love to act. Girl, age 12, friend's daughter. [Size medium tops, 81/2 – 9 women’s shoe, size 6 women’s pants]... My daughter loves that bunny you see on clothing. The bunny that says those cute little sayings, you know. She also loves Sparkly clothes and says that’s all she wants this year (sparkly clothes). She is mature for her age and extremely intelligent. She is also very wholesome and dresses conservatively. Boy, age 15, friend of my friend's son. He probably would prefer to get some kind of toy for a teenager. He loves cartoons and he used to like bugs. Girl, age 4, friend's niece. This is my niece, my younger sister’s little girl. She is extremely mature for her age]... She loves make up and dressing up. She loves to look beautiful. She hates naptime. She has a very short attention span, even for her age. She loves Dora the Explorer and some of the other popular cartoons out for little kids. She is a little genius. Boy, Age 3, friend's nephew. He is an adorable little boy, an only child. His Mother is a 2nd grade teacher. | Saturday, July 30th, 2005 | 3:23 pm [ak_crazy]

hey everyone, im having a kind of relationship problem. you see there's this guy i really like and we went to camp together, only for 2 weeks, and he wasnt there my last day. we live far away so theres almost no chance in us bumping into each other. i kind of got the feeling he liked me also, but i wasnt sure. so i didnt get his info and have a slim chance of ever contacting him. but my other friend{who some say also likes me} is going next week to camp, along with the guy i like. it would be kind of weird though to ask my friend to get this guy's info, because i would feel bad, and unless my friend contacts me, theres no chance in that because i dont have his info. i also have my crush's #, but he doesnt know i have it, and im not even sure if its his house or his parents work. someone please help me. if you have any other ideas on how i could contact him without sounding too obsessed, let me know. or, if you have an idea on how i could get over this guy, let me know also. i have never felt this way before, its all strange and new to me. i guess i never liked someone this much, that i had almost no chance in talking to ever again. i dont like this feeling, please help make it stop. strange question
I wrote graphed this set of numbers years ago but neglected to note the crtieria upon which it is based. Perhaps someone more mathematically inclined could help me figure it out. The interesting thing about it is certain points of symmetry that exist within it (ie the left side mirrors the right... endlessly. If you graph it out you'll see what i mean, the values don't match exactly but the points at which peaks, valleys and plateaus do eerily). I've marked those points in italics. here goes: 0,1,1,1,2,1,3,1,4,2,3,1,8,1,3,3,8,1, 8,1,8,3,3,1,20,,2,2,3,8,1,13,1,16,3,3,3, 26,1,3,3,20,1,13,1,8,8,3,1,48,2,8,3,8,1,2 0,3,20,3,3,1, 44,1,3,7,32,3,13,1,8, 2,13,1,76,1,3,8,8,3,13,1,48,8,3,1,44,3,3,3,2 0,1, 44..... there is more but i don't have the 2nd page on hand... gratsi ai | Saturday, October 23rd, 2004 | 1:21 pm [genie_lorene]

I'm game.
I consider myself a good advice giver, but then maybe I just like the sound of my own voice. I'd love to participate if you find me worthy. However, I would first like to have your thoughts on my problem. I have Lyme Disease and I am attempting to treat it herbally. It's been nine months and I don't feel one whit better--which isn't so unusual. On traditional antibiotic treatment people don't feel better until they are done with the treatment either. I'm just worried because I have no money, can barely work now (I HAD a moderately successful business before my symptoms escalated) no insurance, and no ability to get help with this (short of going on government aid which I am loathe to do) and I don't know if I'm on the right path with my treatment. I want to get better before any more damage is done to my body! Got any words of wisdom? | Thursday, September 23rd, 2004 | 11:01 am [plsmachic]

I'm going out on a limb here, and I doubt anyone will actually go for this but... I have a friend in need. She is a pregnant teen but her mother refuses to let her have a baby shower so now her little girl is going to be born without all the goodies a lot of us thankfully got to give our children. I'm throwing her a baby shower behind her mom's back... thing is - I only have 4 people to invite and that's not much. If any of you guys would be interested in getting her something (however small it doesn't matter, it's the thought that counts) PLEASE EMAIL ME. [email protected]She's having a little girl, & she's due on October 8th (so this is all really last minute)she hasn't registered anywhere because she doesn't think she's getting a shower, and the only thing she has is a crib (and she's breastfeeding). She could use diapers, pacifiers, outfits, etc. or even a gift card to babies r us or something... Thank you for everything and God bless. Please help her if you can... Thank you. ~* Laura *~ [email protected] | Friday, June 18th, 2004 | 5:55 pm [cogent_sage] |

I've been wondering, since time slows down for a person moving at speeds close to the speed of light(from someone standing still's perspective). If someone was trying to get to a star that was 15 light-years away, and they were moving close to the speed of light, would the person even realize it had taken any time at all? I'm sorry if that made no sense at all. Current Mood: curious | Saturday, April 10th, 2004 | 10:51 pm [eliya_0g] |
