ClamUI is a modern Linux desktop application that provides a user-friendly
graphical interface for the ClamAV antivirus command-line tool. Built with
GTK4 and libadwaita for a native GNOME appearance.

Features:

  • Select files or directories to scan using the native file dialog
  • Background scanning keeps the UI responsive during long scans
  • Clear, readable display of scan results
  • Graceful handling when ClamAV is not installed
  • Modern Adwaita styling with proper GNOME integration

The application works well for my needs. It is better than ClamTk. The only thing I have to negatively remark is that I can't alter and save the settings due to the sandbox mode of the flatpack (Linux Mint 22.3 Cinnamon).

Finally, a packaged app that installs the basics needed to run an antivirus scan. Congrats to the developers! It needs one thing, a way to select and scan hidden folders.

Much better looking and less buggy than ClamTK. Works well configuring custom scans. The only thing I miss from ClamTK is being able to set up reoccuring scans. That may be added in future updates.

What a surprisingly beautiful and fast user interface. Looks very raised! You want this one too.
