Are you someone who's endlessly curious about how coaches and club admins run their world, and happy to pick up the phone (cold call included) to find out?
You’ll find the programs that need us, get coaches talking about what's hard in their season, and book qualified demos.
What you'll do
You will open doors into competitive rowing, swimming and running programs across the country.
You'll be the first voice a club hears from CrewLAB, and because you've lived their world (5 AM on the water, or two hours staring at a black line), you'll get along well with your clients.
The best part of the job is the conversation: getting a coach or club admin to tell you what's actually breaking in their season, what eats their evenings, what they wish someone would fix. You can help them with that!
You own the outreach end to end (list building, a daily mix of calls and email, warm referral follow-ups), and the goal is a qualified club is booked onto the calendar for a demo.
You might spend your morning reaching out to East Coast clubs, the afternoon following up a warm intro from our sport expert and getting a coach to open up about their season, and wrap the day prepping notes in HubSpot for the demos we’re running tomorrow.
You'll report directly to the Head Coach of CrewLAB and work closely with the Customer Success and Marketing teams. You’ll have significant interaction with the product team as well.
Responsibilities
Fill the calendar with qualified demos: booked, held, and worth their time.
Reach out across competitive clubs and school programs through a daily mix of calls, email sequences, and warm referral follow-ups. Some of it is warm, some of it is cold, and that is fine, but you are after good conversations, not a call-count leaderboard.
Get coaches and club admins talking about what actually hurts (the stress, the admin slog, the payments mess), and book the ones who fit into Discovery with the people who decide: Treasurers, Executive Directors, Membership Coordinators, and Board Chairs.
Work alongside our network of sport experts and national team partners— legends of the sport with deep rolodexes — to turn names into meetings.
Write up airtight briefs in HubSpot: who you talked to, what hurts, who decides.
Give inputs to the marketing team on what messaging lands by segment, and help build the outbound playbook for a category we're defining.
As needed, travel to regattas, meets, and events to make connections.
Who you are
Former/current elite athlete or coach (national team experience is a plus) who loves to compete. We can accommodate for competition trips and training schedules.
Genuinely curious about people: you'd rather ask a coach ten questions about their program than pitch for ten seconds, and you think the discovery is the fun part. Comfortable on the phone, cold call included: a run of 'no's doesn't faze you.
Well-connected in your sport and proud of it: teammates, coaches, club networks, alumni groups.
Social, outgoing, can make friends and build rapport with people easily.
Coachable — you want feedback on every call and you visibly apply it on the next one.
Tech savvy enough to master the product and run with customer engagement tools.
Hungry: a top-10% track record somewhere (sport, school, or work). Sales experience is welcome but not required.
Able to work East Coast hours.
Leadership stands out to us. If you've captained or led a team at any competitive level, we'd love for you to mention it in your application.

Lead with your sport, your team, and your captain/leadership credential. Warm referrals from athletes and coaches in our network go to the top of the pile.
Are you a natural closer who loves helping people commit to a better way of doing things?
You’ll meet coaches and club boards where they are, guide them to a confident yes, and bring new programs onto CrewLAB.
What you'll do
You will drive growth by turning qualified coaches and admins into customers — matching their problems with our platform and facilitating their journey to a signed decision and revenue collected.
Our openers and a robust marketing function fill your calendar; you run a tight Demo → Decision motion and own the deal through cash in the door. For high-profile leads, you run end-to-end, including the first touch.
You might spend your morning refining your Demo presentation, run three product demos in the afternoon, and wrap the day by reviewing the week's pipeline in HubSpot and doing some follow up.
You'll report directly to the Head Coach of CrewLAB and work closely with the Customer Success and Marketing teams. You’ll have significant interaction with the product team as well.
Responsibilities
Hit a quota of revenue collected to max out your bonus.
Run demos and close calls, getting consensus from the whole club to make a move.
Master product demos to communicate the magic of CrewLAB.
Navigate multi-stakeholder relationships to get to a yes — Treasurer, Executive Director, Board Chair, head coach.
Negotiate and close deals, ensuring fantastic treatment of customers throughout the sales process.
Work with Customer Success Coach to get clubs everything they need to onboard fast.
Give inputs to the marketing team — win/loss patterns, objections, pricing signal — to make and run campaigns that grow your sales.
Provide regular, detailed reports on sales activities, progress, and challenges in HubSpot.
As needed, travel to clients and events to make connections.
Who you are
Former/current endurance athlete (swimming, rowing, running, track & field) who loves to compete.
Multiple years of experience selling digital products and services — ideally a similar product at a competitive company — with the numbers to prove you were good at it.
Motivated to make a ton of sales and a ton of money. You love sales; you chose it on purpose.
Social, outgoing, can make friends and build rapport with people easily; you sell consultatively, and buyers describe you as the most useful call they took that month.
Tech savvy to master the product and sell online.
Communicative and a team player by nature — coachable, curious, and honest in your forecast.
Able to work East Coast hours.
The strongest thing we can see on your resume is team captain. If you led your team — at any competitive level — say so in the first line of your application.

Lead with your sport, your team, and your captain/leadership credential. Warm referrals from athletes and coaches in our network go to the top of the pile.
📌 Payment Plans have arrived!: Gone are the days of asking your athletes to front the full cost of a program before the season even kicks off. We know that's not how crew budgets work — especially when you're juggling dues, equipment fees, and regatta entries all at once. With installment-based payment plans, you can now give your squad flexible payment options right at checkout. Set your schedule, let them pick a plan, and collect what you need — no more awkward follow-up conversations.
📌 Discount and coupon codes: We've built a full coupon code system into payments! Coaches and admins can now create promo codes to discount registrations and program fees. Whether you're rewarding returning athletes, running a sibling discount, or comping a registration entirely (yes, 100% discounts are fully supported!), you have the tools to make it happen cleanly without any manual workarounds.
📌 A dedicated payment history view for programs: You can now see a complete payment history right from the program details page. Every transaction, installment, and coupon redemption in one place, so your admin team isn't digging through spreadsheets trying to track who's paid what.
📌 Club Settings page: Admins, your club-level settings now have a proper home. We've launched a dedicated Org Settings page to give you cleaner control over your organization's configuration.
📌 Calendar event colors 🌈 : You can now color-code calendar events in the club space! Perfect for differentiating all of your teams, schedules, or just making your crew calendar actually fun to look at in the club space. When viewing the calendar from within your team space, entries now display the origin of the event so you always know whose schedule you're looking at.
Improvements
📌 @mentions work in club chat: Fixed — @mention your crew and trust it lands
📌 Unified payments table across all products: We've consolidated payment data into a single, consistent table experience across programs, events, and other product types. Track who's paid and for what without jumping between different views.
📌 Cleaner field layout in the registration flow: The custom field layout during registration was a bit scattered. We've tidied it up so the experience feels intentional rather than like a form that escaped its container.
Bug Fixes
📌 Load Management now shows your team, not the whole team: Coaches working within a specific team were seeing the full team roster in Load Management instead of their team. Fixed: your view matches your context.
📌 Fixed ACH payments on mobile: bank transfers weren't working correctly from the app. If your athletes prefer ACH, they're good to go.
📌 Fixed payment plans not carrying over when duplicating a program
